Too too cute! You did a quite nice job on them. I downloaded the meercat. I do think I will go ahead and buy the ostrich and playmate (can you tell I'm fudging in my head, what's the third critter?) 
Did you do a satin stitch or a blanket stitch? I can't tell when I enlarge your pics. Thread color changes when needed, right?
Macybaby, you're working on the Jessica Dayon BOM? You're piecing the curved blocks, rather than applique? I have one of those curve ruler sets, but I haven't used them yet. Is that how you're doing it, or are you EQ printing on paper and paper piecing?
I like that she's already attached her first row. Jessica is doing her quilt all in blues. I have an idea how I want to do my colors, but my idea would mean that I'd have to wait to start blocks if they were scattered throughout, but no, I can start.

Quiltmouse, I've pieced all the blocks so far. The curves are gentle enough that it's not a big deal to sew them. However I use make a lot of clothing so I've got experience sewing seams where the pieces are not cut the same. I also tend to avoid PP if possible. I think I'm currently burned out on that, but I need to get back into it and finish my ray quilt.
I see that this week has a dresden plate block. I went through a phase of making all sorts of dresden plates, so that won't be a challenge for me.
Here is a pic of my ray quilt in progress. Have not worked on it since we moved, and keep hoping I'll get motivated to start again. I have the rest of the rays done up to the pink, and need to make the star next. Each star has 8 sections and I need 18 of them.

I made my first quilt and first dress around the same time, quilt 12 ish, dress 13 ish. I didn't get back into quilting until a mini course at High School, I took quilting. So, 16 -17. Meanwhile, I made most of my clothes. Well, mom made a lot also. Got serious about quilting around 21, so had years of curved sewing under my belt and had always been mystified about people oo ing an ah ing over applecore & such. I mean, set in a sleeve? gotcha. Several years ago (late twenty-teens) I started a queen size applecore, finished it to flimsy around 2020. All that to say, I'm no stranger to curved sewing, now at age 68. I was just curious what method you had used to sew Jessica Dayon's curved applique blocks. I haven't done any dresden, but I have a couple of wedge rulers, so obviously, I'm intrigued.
I'm currently in bits cutting for my several new starts. There is definite progress.

One of the quilts I am cutting for is Border Creek Station's 2025 Stashbuster Challenge using Blackford's Beauty Block. I am waiting for a bolt of brown from Green Fairy Quilts, it's on back order at Moda. The block has 3 sizes, I'm making mine 12". The block has a center 8 pt star, and then 4 pairs of parallelogram wedges. I'm color coordinating these two within each of 42 blocks. I have bits cut for 36 blocks, and either the star or the wedges cut on the last 6. I've selected 6 fabrics to go with, so I am within reach of having my blocks ready to roll once the brown arrives.

I’m trying to get caught up on my Jessica Dayon Scrappy Sampler. The QAL is on the week 9.
I got the Week 8 blocks done today. Some struggle on the FPP block, without a printer I had to back calculate the sizing for traditional piecing and where that really fell apart was the half square rectangles. I haven’t worked with them before and they ended up aligned funny and my whole block ended at 12” instead of 12.5” so I’ll need to use some framing or coping strips on it come assembly time. I’m still happy with it and not re-doing it or sweating it too much.
I hope to get a go-back block from week 6 done tomorrow (it’s a template one so I have to make a template so it’s a little bit more work). There is also a template block in week 9 that looks a bit harder
to draft but I’m sure I can get closeish. Then one standard pieced block. Hoping to get those 3 all done tomorrow but that might be unrealistic.
