Just got home from 3 days at the hospital with hubby. He was hospitalized for seizures on Sat.... never had them before. After a horrible 24 hours, he was much better. We believe he was divinely healed. They did a lot of testing and decided he had Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures, caused by stress. These seizures make your body go stiff and your eyes roll back in your head, and you have no memory of them. Different from epileptic seizures. Anyway, he is healed of this! Feeling so much better and no more seizures!

I was so far behind in this thread, so suffice it to say I am blown away by all the beautiful and creative blocks!! And quilts! They are all such a treat to look at.
WMUT, I love my pretty block with the pale green. It WILL go great with the others! Thank you. Good luck on the colonoscopy tomorrow. Hope you get a great report.
Terri, your block for me is beautiful and the gold is perfect. Thank you for another great block.

Glad to be home!

Good morning. Pre-op appointment this morning then back to the UFOs. I might be able to get in a nice walk as well. My knee is definitely getting worse but the weather will be warm today so I’ll just deal with it. And I got my crutches yesterday for post op. Wasn’t that fun, learning how to use them properly. At least I’m practicing before I need to use them.

SBG, I can only guess how upsetting the last few days have been. I’m glad DH got a diagnosis and that the seizures have stopped. I’ll be keeping you both in my thoughts. Hugs.

Terriamn, DH hung the batting roll from the basement ceiling. (It’s warm and dry down there.) He ran a wooden rod through the center and then attached a line on each end and suspended it at about my height so I can easily roll off and cut what I need. A simple solution to the space problem. Now he’s going to build out a large table so I can sandwich easier. I’ve never had a space larger than my dining room table to do it properly. I like to spray baste and pin so this will be a giant improvement. So excited!

Have a good day, Stars.

Sewbiz how incredibly scary. Knew something was up when you went silent. Experiencing my granddaughters epileptic seizures I have complete empathy with you. Great news they came up with a diagnosis and he is better and you are both home.

Janice I have one spot where something like that might work in our downstairs. Will have to check it out when we go home. I have 2 of the larger size lifetime fold up tables that we set up in the garage when it’s time to sandwich quilts. We also have risers to put under the leg, which really helps out the ole back.It is a hassle as I also use spray baste and the weather has to cooperate so we can have the garage door open for ventilation

WMUT good luck today

That is terrifying, SBG! You and your husband have really had it rough lately! Praying for you!

My schedule seems to have just gone "Boom!" with something scheduled for everyday. I'm going to make sure I get some sewing time this afternoon!

I love all the new blocks that have been made for me! Thank you, Hav4boys, Macybaby, Lstew and WMUTeach!

I have completed all my blocks in group two, and I am now completely finished with all of the Boom blocks. The last three blocks are for TG, Mariposa and one for me.

SBG you have been through so much lately, so glad to hear your DH is on the mend. Seizures are a real scary thing to witness. Hope your post op recuperation is coming along fine and you see improvement every day.

Cheese.

Hello swappers, I have not been feeling great, but I am slowly working on the blocks. I am thankful for all the blocks made for me. They will make a wonderful Valentine's quilt.
