Good morning, Stars. Nothing new since yesterday except that my almost 20 year old batik top is almost done. I have another few strips to quilt. Can hardly believe it’s nearing completion. I’d have never attempted it on my old Kenmore.
AnnaQuilts and GramE, how are you both feeling?
Hope to get in a walk today.
Have a nice day. Hope it’s pleasant where you are.

Corrected block for Mariposa. Better photo color too! Thanks for the correction notice. Yea, it is frustrating, but Yea, I am glad it was caught before it was put in the gallery and returned to the Boomer Star.
Beautiful day for a good walk, upper 50's and stitching more blocks.

Janice not feeling up to par myself but not sure if start of cold or nasty allergies with all the wonderful budding plants here. Don’t have time for either! Janice, Anna and Gram E hope everyone is quickly on the mend
WmUT very pretty block for Mariposa and your triangles are so precise!
Today is a luncheon with quilters from the Tuesday group. Then our friends will be coming to spend the night again after Scott performs a driveway concert at our place. Love these, they are such a great way to meet people. Busy day
After tomorrow life settles down and I will have lots of sewing time.

WMUTeach, the new pic is better. Thanks. I’ll put it in the gallery later today.
Terriamn, a driveway concert sounds great!
I’ve got my batik quilt under the needle to put the binding on. Woo hoo.

Sewbiz hubby loves music but not a musician, he plays the keyboard for fun but….. our closest friend from Minnesota that is also down here about 90 minutes away is. He has a fabulous voice and plays the guitar. He is our entertainer and well loved for his performances.
Think my problem is allergies but ordered some Enchinea to be on the safe side

Here’s my batik jelly roll quilt. No, I’m not keeping this. All the while I was working on it, I kept thinking about a friend, Angie. No real reason why but I think this will be a gift for her. She’s always coloring her hair with funky colors, including some blues and reds on the quilt, so I think it suits her. It’s lap sized, more or less.
Thanks for looking!

Janice, that jelly roll race quilt is beautiful. It has such a rich look to it. I do remember them but never did one.
We're having unseasonably gorgeous weather. Spending time outside but get to my sewing room to feed that fat squirrel. He/she is adorable.
WMU- that block for Mariposa is lovely! She's going to have a beauty of a quilt.
