To me, Missouri Star Quilt Co. just is't the same without Jenny doing her new video's. The girls are trying I suppose to entice many in the younger generation, but I lost interest in them quickly and very seldom order from the website.

Although I miss Jenny's regular presence, the family is doing a very good ojb in her absence. If you watch 'Tuesday Newsday', Jenny sometimes makes an appearance and its nice to see what she's up to. I think of it as a sabbitical or re-set and look forward to seeing how the experience has affected Jenny when she returns to Missouri. (Disclaimer: I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Africa many. many years ago so I personally find the Doan's experiences very interesting. I also sew on a treadle, so her introduction to treadles and hand cranks is amusing.)

If it's a quilt tutorial that has a pattern I like I will watch anyone doing the video. So far I have found MS videos some of the better ones. And their prices are fair. When searching for quilting items usually their prices are the best or on sale, especially when using the bundle option. If you signed up for notifications there is always a code sent for a big discounts on different items.
I have been to Missouri Star Quilt Town twice. It's more exciting and fun than any of the big quilt shows I have been to including Houston.
