I have been thinking that it is ime to celebrate shamrocks and little wee folk. I hope your day has been filled with smiles, giggles and a little bit of silliness.

With regards to St. Patrick's Day, there are Italian/Irish parades in New Orleans to celebrate. There are the standard beads that are thrown but also, cabbages, carrots, potatoes. My housemate brought home a huge bag of produce -- better than what I see in the grocery store. I was gifted a cabbage, potato, carrots and onion. She made cabbage rolls with her stash and I cooked up the cabbage in the oven with the onion and sprinkled with garlic. I was channeling aautumn who mentioned cooking cabbage and sausage the other day and I was dreaming about it ever since. My cabbage and onion was great! Happy St. Patty's day to all of you!

Dropping into to say hello. I am in the process of thinking about getting my 5 years of candies out and start a project. We will see.

Oh, have 4, please do. It is always a visual adventure to see swapper accomplishments that feature our piles of 2.5's.

Although not finished yet, I am making progress on my Star Trails Quilt. Hope to have the top finished by 2.5 Day. Whoop-De-Do!! Then layer and maybe quilted by early April. That would be a double hurrah, UFO out of the basket and a bunch of 2.5s out of my stash. Hoping to see lots of progress on your 2.5 projects too.

    Watch for April Birthdays tomorrow.

Just checking in to say, "Hi!" Glad my March birthday greetings arrived. Looking forward to getting the April greetings in the mail.
Anyone else here participating in the state-wide Texas Shop Hop? 131 stores in total. Going on until the end of April. I'm grateful my husband loves to map out these routes. He also loves to drive. We've been to about 20 shops so far. A couple shops were down some rugged dirt roads!

That sounds fun, Crispy. Always good to have an excuse to go out exploring, and to buy fabric, of course. I did a shop hop in florida once and thought GPS totally got it wrong when I ended up in a cow field then in front of someone's house. nope, GPS was right. it was interesting!

Two more envelopes arrived yesterday, from Brendan W. and Hav4boys. That makes 19 received. I opened them this morning over my morning coffee and "Oohed and ahhed" over each candy! Even the kids loved finding charms that they loved! Thank you all for making my birthday special! And an extra thank you for those of you who sent an extra gift! You are all too kind.

I sent the April Birthdays PM just a few minutes ago. If you see errors, PM me if not, mail on my friends.

Here is a photo reminiscent of my March 20, 2025. Soon, very soon the snow will be gone and the robins will be nesting and hunting for worms. Ah, spring.
