Took a break and wanted to check in - praying for you Janice
Hav4 - the Ispy is perfect. Great use of those directional crayons (which I wouldn't have in my stash) and adding the extra scraps from BOM
WM - I love that little alien waving - too cute
Lstew - the colors are perfect on the circle fabric - can't wait to see how it all plays -

having a heat wave here in AZ. So cleaning out the outdoor area where we have been piling camping gear and who knows what. Weeding out a cabinet of jars, saving only the good canning jars. Neighbor took my large gallon jars for her crafts. Had a stack of coolers and noticed one was heavy. Found our missing life jackets and tube!

DH putting ribs in the smoker, table cleaned off outside and will enjoy the rest of day.

Good afternoon. A really good one! I’ve had the surgery and have been home since before 10:30. It went very well. I’m in minimal pain but then the nerve block won’t wear off until tonight so then we’ll see how the meds handle it. I’m flat on my back with ice and elevation unless I need to go to the bathroom but then it’s back to bed. I can walk without crutches and a cane just steadies me a bit. They tell me Wednesday will be the rough day but I won’t worry about it until it happens.

It’ll take me until tomorrow probably to catch up on your posts. I look forward to reading them and seeing your blocks. I’m sleepy now so it’s time for another nice nap.

Take care all!

Wonderful , Janice, when you wake up feeling good. Even if you know it will get worse before it gets better! But all those walks with Ernie put you in good shape and will make your physical therapy better than for a person who hasn’t had regular exercise. I Hope the spring weather draws you to get better quickly. Get your rest, that’s important to your recovery too! Now you have a battle scar to show the grands!

Great to hear all went well, Janice. Hope the 3 days in bed passes quickly. Looking forward to a knee that feels good again!

Blocks posted are all beautiful! I especially like Terri's for Hav. It looks like an oriental lantern, to me.

Wide awake and pain-free at 1:30 am. Guess I had too much sleep in the daytime. Oh, well, Gallery time!

Janice hope you are still feeling decent as the block wears off.

First week of May we leave for an Alaskan cruise. I no longer have a need for dressy clothes so scrutinizing what I already own. Thought no problem big ship will probably never see anyone twice so I can get by with two outfits to dress up and down. Then hubby informs me he upgraded us to an area of the ship that is a ship within a ship all contained in a smaller area. Oh great. So my question is do you think a pair of dressy black slacks, a long black skirt and a a knee length black skirt with assorted blouses to go with them is enough for a 10 day cruise? Don’t want to over pack but do want to feel comfortable.

Terriamn, the block is definitely wearing off and I feel considerably more pain. But I can live with it. Can’t wait to take a shower on Thursday. That’ll improve my mood!

Enjoy your Alaska cruise!

Finished the Giant Scrappy Swoon binding just now. What UFO is next???
