NZ thank you for the beautiful Mardi Gras block, love it!

Friday DH and I went to the Pensacola quilt show, we saw some very pretty quilts. Here are a few of them,

Oh, my! Aren’t they stunning, each in their own way. I’d happily take the middle one with the flowers or the last one with the spiral medallion. The time, effort and skill put into them! Wow. Thanks for sharing, Cheesehead.

Oh Cheesehead thx for sharing love them. My favorite is the second one but they are all incredible.

Our friends were able to get out of their park late yesterday and into their new place. The fellow they bought from offered them a good deal. Said he would take his truck and enclosed trailer over to the flooded park and pick up our friend’s golf cart if he could leave his beautiful trailer at their place for a few weeks. A great gesturer that helped both couples out

I spent my life fighting my natural curly hair until the gray came in and it’s much coarser and pretty dang straight. With all this humidity from the rains my curls have come back for a visit. Funny now I love them

I will be in for the next boom, count me as totally addicted.

NZ very pretty blocks. We will miss you but you sure have enough going on with all your family caommitments

Cheese, thanks for the quilt show. How gorgeous!

Janice, you're doing so well. I'm happy for you!

NZ- as someone said the Boom will always be here. It's a commitment for sure and we all love it but life can get in the way of play. Hope you can pop in and say hi.

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

Janice, so glad to hear your knee is doing well, I will pray for Rain. And pray for all the people around you.

NZ, beautiful blocks posted. I love the one that looks like ribbons. I hope you can join us for future booms. The booms are my happy place.

Thank for the mini quilt show, Cheese. I do enjoy seeing what other highly skilled and devoted quilters can accomplish. I know those types of quilts are not my focus, but they are lovely art and they fill my eyes with color.

I have a rainy, misty day surrounding me with predictions of about 2 hours of thunderstorms that could be serious about supper time tonight. I will be stitching away this afternoon constructing alternate blocks for a set of Exchange Blocks from 2023 that have now become the next UFO. on my list. I stumbled upon them last this past week. UFOs seem to be hiding everywhere for some reason. Hope a few hours and a good audio book will keep me motivated.

I made two more last night, one for Cheesehead and one for Logcabin. I think this is a finish for me. I will do a final count.

I just noticed that I labeled the block with the wrong name, Here is the corrected one for Logcabin.
