Hello Quilters, here I am again. -lol
I saw another picture and wanted to make a quilt like his, but of course in red/white/blue. I was kinda worried as I put 805 two and a half inch squares in place but I just went for it. I am pleased with the results, although I couldn’t make the background between the anchor and chains as wide. It would have put me too wide for our QOV size. I also made my chain go to the top , even with my center design. His was dropped down a chain link and bc his quilt was larger, he had more links. Anyway, this is my version and I hope you like it. I text my quilt top picture to my uncle that is a retired Navy man and he said, ‘That’s very, very nice!’. I really value his opinion so I’m glad he liked it. Second picture is the wrong side trying to show you the little 2.5 inch squares.
    Have a great day, friends.-Toogie

My hubby is retired Navy and I showed this quilt to him. He just asked if I could make something like that for him. So it sounds like that quilt is Navy approved!

    You just made my day!
My husband said tell your husband to come and our group will award him this quilt. I said they’re in Arizona! -lol

Very nice quilt, Toogie. You are so generous with your donations to the military. You must be tired of red, white and blue though.

Love this! Is it something you can share the pattern/directions?

That is the cleanest backside of a quilt I have ever seen! Not a stray thread to be found. Great job, that was a lot of work.
