Default Maple Leaves All Raked Up

Hi All, I just finished this quilt this afternoon. I am so relieved it is done. Nothing seemed to go right on this one. It finished up at 53 x 64 (give or take). I don't have the best lighting in my great room, but the close up pic and where I show the backing have the best representation of the actual color. I was originally going to do a cross hatch for the quilting, but thought the diagonal lines opposite of the orientation of the leaf blocks looked cool. Enjoy.

    Shari

I feel your pain. I finished a panel quilt and had all kinds of trouble so I was back to the quilt store 3 times before I called it “done”. I couldn’t even cut 108” back right. I’ve been sewing for over 60 years so I think I’m going back to elementary school to learn math again.

I think we all have those quilts that make us feel totally inept it the important thing is you struggled through to end up with a lovely quilt. Good job!
