Am I icing? Oh, it’s all in my name…Jan-Ice! You betcha I’m icing. I have some excellent gel wraps that live in my freezer now and they cover the whole knee and behind it. The problem is partially that I cut out all meds a bit early bc I don’t care for the side effects and just bc, as you say, it takes time. Everyone says about 6 weeks of swelling should be expected. I’m not even 2 weeks in.

I’m happy you like the gallery!

Dear cute Rio! My Connie dog clone. Terriamn, You gets props for getting out there and walking in the humidity! That’s tough. The air can be so thick. We don’t get the same humidity here that we had in GA but when we do, it kicks my butt. I like to walk as early as possible to one, avoid the heat and two, to get it over with.

NZ like the others have said I have never seen your second DP9 block. Very fun blocks

Have my walk in for the day, the last couple blocks my feet were moving but every step was an effort. The humidity was a killer. Sure wish that I had started walking again much earlier in the season I feel so much better. Told hubby when we get home I am going to drive into town and walk there. Much fewer hills and I can ease back into our neighborhood.

The Magnolia trees are in full bloom, their scent is heavenly and the flower itself is beautiful. The shaving bush trees were severely damaged by the freeze and most of them only have one or two of their exquisite blooms. So many different varieties of flowers here

Have a great day

Hello to All! Thanks for your prayers ❤️, they definitely were answered. I’m back in business and have 3 blocks I’m working on. My stimulator is turned on and I’m learning to adjust it. My rep for some reason turned it off today but I noticed it and turned it back on, without asking! If they think this old lady is going to ask permission after they have given me the remote, forget about it! It’s a long drive here from Boston if they want to come get it. I’m guessing we are still in the honeymoon stage, a steep learning curve. 😬

We have increased our numbers here because Ms Elouise Mae Edgington made her grand entrance on Thursday at 3:12am. I’m thinking we have Eve in the garden to thank for that. She fits just perfectly in the crook of her Daddy’s arm and momma’s too! And you can tell she has Edgington DNA because every baby has had soft peach fuzz instead of hair. She can handle the look, she’s beautiful just as she is!

I have 3 blocks working, at different stages because I have to break up my sitting at the machine time. If I’m smart enough, I’ll post a couple of sneak preview pics. Haven’t had any sleep for a few nights, I’m guessing the storms are the contributing factor.

Good to know all is well with you. I love that secret little smile that new born babies have that someone captured in the photo of Miss Elousie.

GramE, Elouise Mae is beautiful. So sweet. Congratulations!

I'm thrilled for you that your implant is working. Maybe now you’ll get your much needed sleep. Hide that remote!

Janice, hopefully your PT doesn't hurt too much!

I love your Boom quilt, Annaquilts!

I made two blocks this morning, one for WMUTeach and one for LStew. They are both Disappearing Hourglass, just laid out differently. So fun!
Beautiful blocks, NZ. Mine is perfect, Thank you. I love it.

Elouise is just darling, and that little smile, congratulations GramE! So happy for you that the stimulator is keeping you pain free.

Terri, can't believe you will be on the road this weekend heading back to Minnesota, this winter passed by so fast, safe travels.

Janice, great news that your knee has a good range of motion and that your discomfort is minimal.

Can't believe Miss Ivy is already heading off to school, where has the time gone?!

Jan "ice" good girl You're doing all the right things. Our bodies really rebel at intrusions like scalpels, anesthesia, etc. But we get through it!! I love those ice packs you mentioned. Mine got a ton of use.
Gram- your new little girl is precious!!!

This is a dark grey Saturday, here in north central Indiana. But how low can you go for entertainment? We have two-handed bowling on our TV. There is actually a competition that features one handed bowlers against two handed bowlers. And he is moaning and cheering as if it was a final four game!

I’m glad I have hobbies. Today I’m leaning towards keeping up with Elouise and my grandson is totally indulging me! She got to come home today and they weren’t expecting that. So their journey begins. First time in her car seat. First time in her new bedroom!

And my remote control to my stimulator keeps telling me it can’t find me, when I’m 24” away from it. It says call your rep! But it’s working, so no panic here.
