This is my girl on day 1 of Kindergarten. She turned 5 just a few days later. Her board says she wants to be an "author" when she grows up!!!! She's a dead ringer for her Dad (my son).

GramE, congratulations on a new baby girl in the family!!! She is so sweet!

Janice, hopefully the pain and swelling go down sooner than the average six week period!

I got some blocks made up today, two for Terriamn and one for Lstew. I am really enjoying the Disappearing blocks, lol! These are all Disappearing Pinwheels this time.

Susie Q granddaughter Arden is cute as can be.

Nz great blocks and I love my disappearing pinwheels. Thank you

GramE you go girl! You are in charge of your remote.❤️❤️❤️😵‍💫

Our friends had us for a goodbye dinner last night. I wasn’t feeling any to good before we left buy the time we were hope it sounded like I was talking with a close pin on my nose. Took allergy medicine and feeling better today but continuing with the allergy meds so no repeat performance

We have everything ready to go and will leave by 5 tomorrow morning. Looks like we will have lots of company. With all the storms in the Midwest many friends we talked to decided to wait a day and head out tomorrow. We don’t have reservations on the drive home so we can drive till we are to tired to continue, which will be much earlier for me then hubby.

This is baby Mya in an outfit that her Mom wore when a newborn

Omg, Terri, what a little doll! You must be over the moon!!

I need some ideas. This top turned out so BLAH. I don't like it at all. I used a jellyroll and have a lot left over. I don't know how to spruce it up. Any ideas? TIA

I made a last minute decision to go to Memphis for a while. I had no idea I was driving into a full blown storm! It wasn't bad until I crossed the state line into TN. Then the bottom fell out. In Memphis you couldn't get around for all the flash flooding. Big lakes and rivers cut me off from where i needed to go. Sad to see all the folks who thought they could just drive through 3 feet of water and got stuck! I finally made it to our house after several changes of routes.

Oh these precious babies just melt my heart! Eloise and Mya are both gorgeous. And Arden is too! Her pretty blue eyes just shine out! Thank you for sharing these pics with us.

Love all the blocks being shown. Never knew you could do so much with disappearing blocks! They are pretty, NZQ.

I would put a fun border that repeated the "goldish" color and quilt the open squares with a daisy or squares or something more dense than the rest of the quilting. That's my two cents. I hope you get more ideas than mine.

Good morning. Here comes the same storm that SBG must have hit in TN.

The baby pix are wonderful. Thank you for sharing them.

Nzq, your disappearing blocks are real hits. Time to look them up and try a few.

The grands are coming over for dinner. First time we’ve seen them in about 3 weeks! That’s the longest we’ve gone since moving here.

Have a good day, Stars.
