    A used cutting mat would be what I tried first. It would add some grip, repurpose that old mat and I could remove it when I didn’t want it on the table. Just my two cents for whatever they are worth.

    Good idea. Can use those big Bull Dog clips. I use them when I baste my quilts.

    EasyPeezy you came up with 2 very good ideas. I liked the pool noodle idea, too.

    I use a 2 lb hand weight to hold it down. When adding binding to a large quilt, l roll my little 3 tier cart over to left of my chair and lock 2 wheels. I still use the weight. 🙂
