Gram E - What a blessing a stimulator and a baby!! And what a cutie she is. All family had peach fuzz and loved it.

And what a blessing that Mya can where mommies hand-me-downs! Love it.

Storms - saw the flooding in TN and to hear you were driving into it. Glad you arrived safely.

Today I donated 16 quilts. Dream Center is large organization that helps victims of human trafficking, abuse, and exploitation. There are many centers but the one I donate to is in Short Creek Utah in the midst of FLDS community. they do not receive quilts from anyone else and my friend travels there to volunteer and can take them with her.

Here at the high desert we get Graupel also known as snow pellets. they may look like hail but they are actually snow.

GramE I don’t think I congratulated on baby Elouise she is beautiful.

Driving conditions are almost perfect today. Drove in and out of a few sprinkles but nothing to amount to anyth8ng. We left At 4:57 this morning and are now 66 miles from Oklahoma City. Which is the area hubby least likes to drive in but with it being Sunday hopefully it will be clear sailing. Lot of standing water here.

TG your grapple sure looks very strange.

Sewbiz glad you made it safely to Mephis.

Terriamn, have a safe driving day. Hope the weather is good.

Last night Ernie ran around with the grand girls like he was a pup! We’d never seen that side of him before. All three of them were revved up and running hard. Couldn’t believe he was out running them and going back for more. Who’s almost 14?!?! Surely not Ernie!

I have first post-op appointment this afternoon and then we’re off to get an ice cream as a treat. Big doin’s today! Lol

Terri, hope all your driving is smooth sailing...

TG, you have educated me. I've never heard of grapple before you mentioned it. BIG snow.

Janice, so fun how Ernie enjoys the grandgirls. Kids do have a completely different energy from adults, and Ernie knew it.

Default a few finishes

Good Rainy NC Afternoon All,
I had some time this weekend for a few finishes... Hope you like these Cheesehead, Terriamn (two) and Macybaby.

Terriamn...for your second block I tried to pull out the background and the pinkish flowers in that little swatch you sent. I hope you agree with my choices..

I think I just have 2 blocks left.

Made it home safe and sound. I drove the last 6 or 7 hours to give hubby a break. Once again perfect driving weather.

Glad to hear you are home safe and sound! Reminds me of one of my granddaughters. At night when I had the opportunity to stay with them for the evening, I would tuck her into bed and she would say her night time prayers. She always asked that her mom and dad would come home "safe and sound". I can hear her little girl voice in my memory. Happy that you are home and thank you for the memory.

Good weather makes a long drove so much more bearable. Happy you’re home safely. Hope everything is as you left it at home.
