One more for today, but the taskmaster said time to put my feet up! They haven’t figured out why they are swelling. And today they are doing a bang up job of it. I have two that need finished sewing together but they will have to wait till tomorrow.

I am supposed to get to go see Elouise next week, I better get these feet better so I can go!

oops Janice, I must have picked the wrong one, I’ll put it back up later. It was way too big.

I hope this one works. It’s for Cheesehead.

I still think it is too big. Can you tell before you move it?

NZ and GramE, love what you did with the "what was I thinking fabric"! Thank you both for such amazing blocks!

Good morning! I've picked up the four latest blocks but am having trouble logging on to weebly. Will try again later and will post them when I get on. Frustrating!

GramE, beautiful block! I was puzzled by this fabric but then I always am with large prints.

About half the packages have arrived already and a couple are in the mail. Everything is looking very good for an on time finish.

Am going to take Ernie for a short walk this morning but he's still taking his after breakfast nap. He takes them after every meal. What a life!!!

Have a grand day!

NZ and GramE lovely blocks and congratulation NZ on finishing

Nz my dd homeschooled her 3 kids for years. Our Abby was also bullied. When my dd decided the school environment would be best for the kids she got a job and they all went to private school, Abby went to a Montessori for her senior year and the younger two are in a parochial school. Bullying isn’t tolerated at their school. It seems to be working for the younger two, they are flourishing and Abby is now a junior in college and loving every minute of the experience.

Janice ouch on the knee

GramE hope the swelling goes down on your feet so you can visit that sweet little baby

NZ - Great finish. I especially love my I-spy block. It is perfect!
It is so difficult having a child unhappy. As for reading - do you have anyone who can zoom with her? My mom and I would zoom with your grandaughter and read together. We got the same books she had so we could help sound out the words (and understand her) . Gave my daughter a break and we all gained from it.

My show and tell - I started these before COVID! Each in its own baggy with the backing material. And then it just sits. In one of the local groups we were putting together the farmers quilt - and I was able to use the large scraps for backing. The Heart was another that was waiting to get quilted.
Two more down - Yea!!

TG, love the heart quilt! And those bandanas on the farm animals on the reverse of the quilt make me laugh. Great farm quilt finish!

Got onto Weebly so all is well there.

It’s a quiet evening here. Might just turn in early.

That happy pig on the back of your quilt brought me an instant smile. Why? Don't know it just did. Love the heart of colored pencils or are they crayons? I have seen the pattern before and always thought that would be a terrific wall quilt for a classroom. I am years out of the classroom but in my dreams I still teach little ones or my favorites, fourth graders. Loved teaching and still miss it.

Your quilts are awesome, TG! Love those animals in bandanas and the pencil heart is beautiful.
