GramE I will double check but I think I left those scraps in Texas. Will double check as soon as hubby wakes up from his nap
I went to JoAnn fabrics to see what they had left and to say goodbye to the ladies I know from shopping there the last 20 years. Very sad. Today was 50% off the price, my total for fabric ran up to $166.00 and after all the mark downs it was $43.00. Just bought some blenders. Haha mostly pink as that was the most of any color left.
Macybaby bet it feels good to seeing some headway with your trailers.

Here is my Checkerboard Rainbow quilt that is mostly novelty prints and fussy cut little squares. Total 2.5s used....1,080. I started it last spring and finished the binding yesterday. It was windy today do the quilt looks a bit wonky, Really it isn't.
Warm and breezy on this fine April day. Just preparation for a temp drop for tomorrow. 60 degrees today and 30/40 degrees tomorrow. Love weather. The local pair of Canada geese have been absent for a few days. That usually means they are nesting. Mother's Day is often little fluff ball reveal day. How to they know that? Clever geese I guess.

I love that Checkerboard quilt WMU, it’s definitely on my list. I just need to get caught up on graduated grands. The year I had 4 set me back. But I believe I am caught up to the last two.
I’m on my way to Troy, Ohio to see little miss Elouise who I hear has a very healthy set of lungs, We’ll see if 1 grandma and 2 great grandmas can wear her out!

WMUTeach, love the Checkerboard rainbow quilt!!! Congratulations on a grand finish!!! Oh, I might try that one day.
Our hummingbirds are showing up regularly at the feeders now and blue birds and Carolina chickadees are nesting in the nesting boxes. The BBs are already hatching. Love our birds!

Michelle- yes I have vintage material and blocks and tops! Starting to say pre-COVID!
Thanks for all the comments. Have no idea where the bandana animal panels came from- they were in my farm bag.
WMUTEACH- terrific finish. So many white/cream candies. Colorful

GramE, I am going home on Wed. I can check for NZQ's fabric scraps when I get there. By then, you may have found enough but I will still check. That block is amazing!
WMUT, that quilt is stunning. Love how the colors flow.

Good morning, Stars.
Recently we had a few water stains appear in the kitchen ceiling. Not good. Today the roofer will come out to determine the source. We suspect the old skylights, or rather the flashing around them. In any case, we’ll get a roof inspection from a highly reputable company. I hope we won’t need to replace it. If we do, we’ll replace the old skylights, too. Could be an expensive day for us.
I’m watching a female Eastern Towhee build her nest piece by piece in a shrub outside our family room window. The hummingbirds are coming and going from the feeder above it. Love our birds!
GramE, glad you’ll be able to finish that stunning block for NZQ. Thanks to TG for coming through. What a fun block, your mugshot I mean.
