Sweet I Spy and baby quilt blocks, Michelle! I love the folded corners block pattern.

I drove home from Memphis yesterday. It was good to see Hubby. Now I'm ready for a peaceful Easter and back to making things after that.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate. He has risen!

Working away on the Cleopatra's Fan quilt for the past week. Here is my progress as of supper time today. Should finish by ....Tuesday. Fingers crossed. ZuZu decided to rearrange the blocks last night, but I had taken a photo and got them back into order pretty quickly. I wasn't crazy with her arrangement of the blocks. The Virtual Quilting Weekend here on the QB was good motivation to keep pushing forward today.

Maybe more assembly after the family festivities tomorrow.

Good morning. It’s a soft morning out there and I’m just enjoying a cuppa Joe and watching the hummingbirds while Ernie and DH snore away! lol. What funny guys I’ve got. The birthday party was a huge success with all the children fully exhausted afterwards and ready to go home. Today will be a lazy day for us, just some relaxation after the yard work of yesterday. Maybe I’ll even put a stitch or two in some project but I doubt it.

Wmuteach, your Cleopatra’s Fan is gorgeous. Love all the greens. I look forward to seeing how you finish it! I’m interested in your Passover cake recipe if you will share. Will email you.

Michelle-quilts, great blocks! Love the I Spy block. Send me your tracking number by email when you ship so I can watch for it to arrive.

NZQ, additions are crazy expensive. I hope yours goes smoothly. We just contracted for a new roof, replacement skylights and gutters and I had sticker shock over that. My goodness!

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Janice the recipe for the Passover Cake can be found at: https://toriavey.com/chocolate-crackle-cake/
This is not the original recipe I had but it is so close I found no difference.

Off to celebrate Easter with my daughter and her family.

Happy Easter! He has risen indeed. Hubby’s nephew invited us to dinner since there were going to be lots of kids we declined a little more activity than we are up to yet. Going to be a qui day here also. Discovered our dryer has a steam setting and boy did that take care of my wrinkled dress clothes and bought a beautiful soft shawl at the Thrift shop for $2.00. Exciting.

On a totally different subject the Celebration of life for our son- in - laws mother is next weekend. I have asked my dd if they need anything and as expected from her I didn’t hear back. I have never been in this position before what do we give for a memorial gift. Any thoughts are appreciated.

wanted to share the completed floppy for the Neighbor's oldest. Now just need to get it quilted before she outgrows her love for Clifford.

The Cleopatra's Fan quilt and the Clifford quilt are both terrific! Love all those greens... and the borders around Clifford. We have some talented ladies here.

We had a lovely, quiet Easter. Church was packed... Why do so many folks only go on Easter sunday, I wonder?

Today I'm going back to see about my Ulnar nerve and numb fingers. It's been 6 weeks since surgery and my hand is as numb as ever! I am told it may take a year for the banged up nerve to heal. Can't wait for it to return to normal.

Looks like our packages are making it to Janice, one by one! Looking forward to the next boom.

SBG, I’m sorry to hear that your hand hasn’t gotten feeling back. It must be a disappointment but sounds like there’s still plenty of time to see improvement.

Macybaby, Clifford is fabulous! What a grand top. She’ll love it for years.

Pt was rough today but I’m showing some improvement. Yay for that.

Had a late evening or early morning visitor who did a job on the pool cover. It’s a total loss. Looks like our visitor got out with its life I’m glad to say. Check out those bear prints!
