Get it checked out now, Terri! Don't wait til it happens again.

GramE, great block with the Halloween fabrics. Congrats on being nearly done!

Where has Hav4boys been? Hope all is well with her.

Terriamn, I fully agree with SBG. Call your primary care physician and tell them what happened. They’ll likely get you in quickly. Be pushy. You are your own best healthcare advocate and this needs to be looked into.

Hav4boys has a new job and I believe she is swamped. She’s been in touch and her blocks are on their way to me and should arrive in the next few days.

Today should be a pleasant day but cloudy. I plan a nice walk later. Been having new pains stemming from my knee but it seems better. I thought this would be a linear progression of improvement but it’s got ups and downs. Now that I’ve accepted that, my attitude is better.

We brought new car in for some undercoating and they gave us a lender. Kia Sorrento. My hubby is 6’2” he had the front seat back as far as it went, looked like he was sitting in the back and he could barely breathe. Eventually I will be purchasing a small car and now we know it won’t be a Sorrento.

Hope H4B is enjoying her new job

DH is the same height. You should see him in airplane seats in coach. He’s all legs and it’s often impossible for him to sit with his knees touching. He has no choice but to “encroach” upon the people beside him. Ridiculous. I know he feels your hubby’s pain!

Terri, I agree to see the doc asap. Also could have been a panic attack. Chest pain and various other symptoms can occur with panic attacks. But I'd rather you be safe and get checked out.

Well, it is finished as of this afternoon. At least my part of this lovely project is done. Now, the owner will take it to her mother's favorite long arm quilter. I hear tell eventually it is to be donated as an auction item for a hospice fundraiser. Final size is 92 x 108

I am glad this effort is over. I learned much about quilting curves, color balance and working on a special quilt for someone else. I now have a long list of questions to ask when someone who does not sew asks you to make a quilt that was the dream of a third person, her mother. Would I make this block again, absolutely but in jewel tone colors. Yes, I have someone in mind but that will not be this year.I need a bit of a mental rest before I make another.

I’m sorry to say, I fast ran out of your fabric, but that seems to be a familiar song I’ve been singing. Did fat 8ths shrink?

They will be in the mail tomorrow.

WMUTeach, the top is so pretty. You did a fantastic job. Eventually someone will have this in their home and.hospice will have a donation. Congratulations on powering through. I bet it will be gorgeous in jewel tones!

GramE, it’s a beautiful block. Thank you. No, fat eights didn’t shrink but I didn’t add the extra I usually add because I was short on fabric. Email me your tracking number when you get it please.

Looks like we’re done with our blocks. By this weekend I’ll be sorting them out and getting them to you next week as long as the two remaining packages arrive in a timely fashion.

PT was cancelled yesterday due to a power outage but I go today instead. I walked too far yesterday and my knee is grumbling this morning. I’m still learning what I can and can’t do.

Have a lovely day.

Lovely blocks, GramE!

I haven't had time to sew since I finished my blocks and I'm itchy to sew again. So today, after one kiddo's speech therapy and after we finish our homeschooling, I am going to do some mindless string piecing!

My favorite mindless sewing is making crumb blocks. I turn on an old movie and piece away!
