Boom 33 Stars

Good morning, Stars! It’s a lovely, cool morning and I’m watching the early birds go to and from the feeders. How I love this time of day.
Fyi that Hav’s package should be in today’s mail and GramE’s should arrive Friday or Saturday so we’re on schedule for an on time shipping next week! If possible, I’ll ship early if I get the time to work on sorting this weekend. I don’t want to jinx it by saying I’ll definitely ship early on Monday but I’ll try. It’s a busy weekend coming up. We’ll see.
Have a pleasant day!

Janice I will have my mail on hold at the PO so I won’t be able to let you know it arrived and of course cell service will be very limited.
Janice I love early mornings when I get up early, like today. It is 41 here and will be sunny no birds at the feeders this morning, they must be waiting on the sun.
GramE great finish!

Oh my, Terri. It's always something! I hope your husband does write that review!
Our Joann has shipped all remaining merchandise out of the store... probably to other stores still having sales. The cotton quilting fabric never got to below 30% off, so I was shocked to find the store totally cleaned out when I stopped by on Monday. They must be selling whole stores to places like Big Lots and Ollie's. They were only letting people in who had bought the store fixtures and were coming to pick them up. I'm sure we will see lots of their stuff in other places soon.
I'm so discouraged by the prices of things. Our gas and food and eggs have NOT come back down, like they are saying is happening in other parts of the country. I just went to do our grocery shopping and refused to pay $9.50 for an 18-pack of brown eggs. Even the white ones were only $2 cheaper. If I didn't spend so much time away from home I would get chickens. We've had them before and they do produce a lot of eggs.

My JoAnn's is still operating. Planning on stopping by tomorrow to see if there is anything I NEED or will use in the near future.
I dropped off the Cleopatra's Fan quilt to its owner late this afternoon and she told me I could keep all of the scraps and even some yardage. Yeah, the yardage is white and some of the dark green used in the frame. I will move the fabric into my stash and get rid of the book and plastic templates. Acuquilt is a much better method.
I have started my "fish" quilt and I am trying to get all of the fish finished before the "Star Blocks" arrive. Moving ahead at fast rabbit speed.... for the moment anyway.

Oh fun a fish quilt!
Sewbiz I am sure hubby will follow up with a review and will send letters to the dealership as well as corporate. He is use to handling such fiascos as Tuesdays mess.
All packed and ready to go, it’s 5:45 AM and we don’t head into the Twin Cities till dinner time. Now what am I going to do that I don’t make a mess for the entire day. Terri don’t add anything to your suitcases!

Sorry I have been MIA, we have been busy in the yard trimming the bushes way back and putting down new pine straw. Last year upon our return some bushes were over the top of the house! It was shocking to see how much they had grown. No rain for a couple of weeks, we would love a good rain especially since the temps have been near 90.
Terri, your cruise sounds exciting! An Alaska cruise is on my bucket list when we no longer have any pets.
WMUTeach, looking forward to the progress on this next quilt. Love how your Cleopatra's fan quilt turned out! I gifted myself the Accuquilt die for Christmas this past year and can't wait to make a quilt with it. Hope it turns out as nice as yours.
We plan to head back to Wisconsin next week and will look forward to seeing all of the lovely blocks everyone has made for me!
