GramE, do you have pix of AnnaQuilts’ and Mariposa’s blocks? I don’t see them posted here or in the gallery. If not, I’ll grab a snap of them and post the when I get your pkg.

it’s a lazy day today but I really need to vacuum and dust. Ernie is a little fur monster, worse than any dog we’ve ever had! For such a little guy, it’s amazing how much fur he has and now that it’s warmed up, he’s shedding.

Have a great day!

Cheese, when you're ready to try a block watch the video on the Acuquilt site. I it a bit chatty but the directions are good to get you started. It is almost as easy as the instructor makes it look.

Happy cruse, happy dusting, happy walking and block making and enjoying the outdoors and bush trimming and packing up blocks for the push out next week. Looking forward to playing them.

I have made 36 of the fish in just a few days. Amazing. Here is the pattern I am using but since this quilt is for an 18 year old feller, I am making it bigger. The directions are a little sketchy but the pictures make it all possible. What is nice is that you make two fish at a time. https://maryquilts.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/fish-instruction-sheet.pdf

Sweet dreams everyone.

Good morning! Ernie and I have been on our own for three days as DH was down at the cabin cutting the grass and doing some minor repairs. He’s due back in a couple of hours. Still haven’t done the dusting and vacuuming as yesterday was a total Ernie day. We went for several walks and napped. I also started sorting the blocks so I have hoped they’ll go out on Monday as long as our final package arrives as predicted. We’ll see. This morning I noticed my leg was much less stiff and the knee barely hurts. Oh, I hope that’s a harbinger of things to come today.

I’m picking up my Bonnie Hunter Bear Branch from the LA today. Oh, boy, do I hope it turned out well. I know she can do much better than I can on my machine so I think it was the right choice. I’ll post a pic when I get it back. Time to get the binding ready. I’ll sew to the front and then turn to the back by hand on this one. It’ll take me a while as it’s 78x78.

Hoping you have a good day!
