New avatar, the yellow iris is lovely. What a daunting job it must be to sort, package and prep all of those packages. Three Cheers For You! I, and would guess that we all, appreciate your dedication to this group. Posting photos, reminding us of this and that the keeping our chatter going forward and providing a nudge to individuals now and again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I would see you a bundle of money for your work and dedication but,................ I spent it all at a new local quilt shop I discovered last week. Tee-Hee-Hee

Ok ladies you know how I struggled trying to pick clothes out for the trip. Imagine my surprise when I saw this outfit. What in the world. I had to take a picture so you would believe me

Terrianne, some clothing should not leave the state room! What were they thinking! . I am sure you made the better choices for your travel wardrobe! Just something to remember for years to come. Tee-Hee-Hee! Right?

Oh. my. gosh. That's just gross. Perhaps a person on staff needs to have a word with that person. Surely that can't be ok with the dress code for the dining room. Not to mention making all the other guests uncomfortable. Yuck.

Just had a funny thought, Terri… All that worrying about what to wear, and little did you know you could have just gone to dinner in your pantyhose and sweatshirt! 😂😂😂😂

Good morning and Woo hoo! Our last package is on the truck for delivery today. This means I’ll be able to package all the blocks up and most likely ship on Monday. That’s my new goal. Tuesday and Wednesday have suddenly gotten full so Monday it is barring any problems.

Foggy is the word for this morning. My goodness, it’s thick. Can’t even see across the street to my neighbor’s house yet. The birds are singing up a storm and the hummingbirds haven’t been deterred from visiting the feeders.

I got my quilt back from the LA. It turned out beautifully. I’ll start working on the binding next week. I think I’m going with a scrappy turquoise. I’ll try to get a pic this morning once it brightens up.

Have a wonderful weekend, our last official weekend of the Boom.

Well, I might be jinxing it by saying we’re going to start Boom 34 in August for a finish before the holidays. Hope you’ll join us next round, Ibex, if it works into your busy schedule. Everyone just keep an eye posted here and come July I’ll probably start advertising it.

I’m off to start making up the labels and recounting everything.

Also, a reminder that blocks must be measured to 12-1/2 square. Each and every block. An acrylic square is best, not the lines on your cutting mat or a tape measure. They’re simply not accurate enough. Next round I’m going to address this again before starting sign-ups. We had a couple people not measure correctly and it’s been handled for the next Boom. I’m welcoming everyone from this swap back for Boom 34 so I hope you’ll consider joining!

Off to work on your packages. The grands are coming tomorrow morning so everything must be labeled and sealed by then. Oh, what a three year old could do to the open packages boggles my
mind!
