Yes, Happy Mother's day. You may or may not be a mom, but we all have times when we step into that precious roll to help another. Thank you, bless you and continue to mother others.

We have internet. Sewbiz love your party animal quilt

Today’s location is Victoria in BC. Another fantastically beautiful city but very spendy to live in.

Happy Mother’s Day to all

I got my pkg! Yeah! And I confess, I didn’t have much time to watch over the blocks you were making me, so opening was a great reveal! I could not have imagined the beauty that fell out of my bag. It was just a dotted fabric. But you kind ladies have made amazingly special creations. I’m going to try for 2 quilts out of this because they are all so wonderful.

Thank you all for your time and effort. Definitely a successful Boom33. I did get 19 packets. Have a wonderful summer. I hope you had a blessed Mother’s Day.

I came back from my long trip to Canada. My Valentine blocks were waiting for me. They are lovely. Thank you Janice for coordinating another successful swap. I love the blocks everyone in the Stars BOOM 33 made for me. Thank you.

The winds are keeping me indoors (great reason anyway) and I have been loving on your I Spy blocks. So many objects and colors and designs. Some fabric I recognize and some is all new to me. I have one designed and another quilt playing with colors and layout.
I came across a bag of 14 FQ + yardage I picked up at yard sale. It relates to the book “The Quiltmaker’s Gift” I have the book and want to finally make the quilt. Half of material has great designs so I am attempting to find a pattern. This is where I have difficulties.
Enjoy your week

Good morning. We’ve had some tremendous rain but not as bad as Helene, thank the stars. I’ve been ill with a fever for two days but whatever it was appears gone. Today I feel fine but rather weak. I’ll take myself for a walk today and get some fresh air between rain showers.

I’m glad you all are enjoying your blocks. Mine remain in a small tub. I’ve looked at them briefly but set them aside. Maybe I’ll finally get them up on the design wall and take a pic.

The grands are coming on Friday night for a sleepover. We’ve offered to have them once a month so their parents can have date night or just plain quiet for a night. Mom and Dad snapped up that offer right away. We’re trying to think of something fun to do with them. I’ve had a request for popcorn and hot cocoa, with marshmallows, from the girls. They say they just want to play so maybe we’ll just do whatever comes into their very imaginative little minds.

That’s about it here. I feel a little at a loss not doing Boom work so maybe I’ll pull dates for the next swap and just get that ready.

Hope you have a good week.

After being up for 24 hours we finally made it home at 5:30 this morning. Plane problems. Fantastic time and I highly recommend a trip to Alaska

Slept for 4 hours and jumped up and opened my blocks. Janice all my blocks arrived safe and sound. Thank you everyone.

Janice it should be a fun time for you all when the grands have a sleepover

Terriamn, glad you made it home safely and that it wound up being a great trip!

Looking forward to Boom 34, I anticipate Signup’s will begin July 27. The swap would wrap up just before Thanksgiving. I hope those of you who are interested can use the dates to get ready.

Have a great evening.
