    I like to store my finished binding using the figure 8 roll. When I'm ready to use it, I just place the figure 8 roll in front of my machine & it feeds off very easily with NO twisting whatsoever.

    I know we haven't been talking on this topic for a while, but I just had to share a picture of my binding procedure. I have an antique industrial wooden spool that I wrap my binding around. It conveniently fits on the bobbin winder of my Bernina. This leaves both of my hands free to sew.
