Yes, it is our Crispy_frog, Terriamn! The only way I remember to add my screen name it to put it on all of the envelopes at once in January. It is just so easy to forget.

Happylab, we will be waiting for a photo of your quilt come December... I looked at Bear Creek and it is a five month mystery. I would join but I am in the middle of a mystery at this moment and have two family quilts to create, more 2.5's and of course UFO's to finish. Every year I vow to finish more and then be free to create more of what I want to make. I never seem to catch up. The UFO pile is diminishing. The easy ones are done, for the most part an now it is time to take on some of the more challenging UFO's

I am amazed at the travels you all have taken. Woozers! Still room and time for more stories of vacation adventures.

I know not all here are cat lovers but according to Sandra Boynton, today is Cat Day. Celebrate as you wish... or not!

Good evening. We’re getting just enough rain right now to make the heat even wetter. Ugh. And suddenly now we’ve got hail. This is one quickly changing storm.

I finished sewing a binding on the front of a quilt but now it’ll be afternoons in the good light hand sewing to the back. I’m going to pull out my candy squares after dinner and see if I’ve got enough to make an autumn quilt along the same lines as yours, WMUTeach. I need to do something easy and your autumn quilt is appealing. I’m sure I must have enough. Thanks for the inspiration. If I get some put together tonight I’ll post a pic for 2.5 day.

it’s pouring now with about dime sized hail. What a surprise from such a little cell.

    Have a good evening.

Oh, it’s cat day. I will give my three cats a big hug and extra treats. They are all mostly black with a few small white patches. 2 are brothers and are 10 years old, 18-20 pounds. The other is a 8 years old female, about 12-15 pounds. They are great cats, that we enjoy and love them to death.

One of the YouTube Channels I watch (From Small Things) did a show and tell on a 2.5” square project in the first 5.5 minutes of this video. It’s greens and whites/creams with some borders of white string blocks to break up the candies. I thought it was really pretty!

I started a candy project tonight with an eye to making one in autumn colors, too. Below is a pic of a few “pre-blocks”. I’m thinking the center of the nine patched will be black or a dark grey with setting triangles of the same color. I’m just playing now but I can see it being fun to work on.

    Happy Cat and 2.5 Day!

Thank you Red. I will note that on my list of received packages.

Janice, keep playing with your squares. I like the direction your block planning is going.
