Hello ladies,
I started quilting 4 years ago. I made my first quilt for my youngest grandson when he was born with my sister’s help via FaceTime. I’ve been hooked ever since. I am a big appliqué fan and recently volunteered with a group of women who hand quilt for charity. I am a retired teacher with 4 grandchildren, two of which we watch 3 days a week. Quilting is my me time. As you can tell I am more of a traditionalist. I just finished my first Baltimore Album quilt top. I am excited to join you all.

Sending a warm welcome from Delaware. A Baltimore Album quilt is way beyond my skill set and I’ve been quilting for over 60 years! Well, maybe not beyond my skill set, just not on my list to actually make one. I am happy to enjoy what others make however😊 And love the patience and talent it takes to stick with it to completion. I see too many “squirrels” and would be off on at least three other projects in the middle of a Baltimore Album quilt. LOL I am envious of your determination.

I appreciate all your warm welcomes. My Baltimore Album quilt is definitely made by a beginner, but hope to get better and better.
