Knock, knock anyone home? I bet y'all busy wrapping up vacationing, reading good books and working in the garden. I spend yesterday defrosting my small chest freezer so I can begin taking advantage of fall food bargains. I have started with 25 pounds of flour and will likely add Ben and Jerry's that is on sale this week at one of the local grocery stores.

In the quilting room, I have finished a UFO quilt top but need to locate a backing. Been searching online for a soft pastel orange, think of creamsicle color. To this point just wandering around online with no finds yet. What is another month or two since it has waited for more than two years?

I won't likely have a 2.5 this month. I will be away from my machine most of this week and have nothing started. That said, you can fill in for me and post a photo of what you are working on that used 2.5's.

Watch for September birthdays coming soon, the 20th.

I tossed half my email box. I know I will regret it later. Lots of precious memories. But new memories to be made !

I have done nothing as I await my BOOM fabric. Tuesday I will be starting a slow stich club where I volunteer at the Children's Library on campus. I'm bringing candies teach mug rugs making for folks who want to learn to piece and quilt. No sewing machines as it is a library. If I have no books to put away, I might just be doing some crazy quilti stitching. I love slow stiching. If I get some folks going on this, I'll post pictures.

Ibex94, all I can say is once a teacher always a teacher. Right. Good for you to share your skills with those interested in learning how to quilt. You never know, there may be a fabric or pattern designer hiding out among those interested folks.

I know it is difficult to "Delete" content from our PM boxes. Wish there was a better, more efficient way to move the content to our own computer.

It is a cooler morning here in the mitten, so I am baking a peach pie, and small loafs of banana bread that I use as welcome basket gifts for new neighbors to our condo neighborhood. Sixty-four degrees is a delight. Back up to 80's this afternoon. Not too bad without humidity.
