Okay, so I won't tell you how long the blocks for this quilt were sitting in a box waiting to be sewn together and quilted..... but as my mother used to say..."Better late than never". All blocks hand appliquéd wool on flannel.

It’s not late, it’s right on time! Some things take a while to become great. As a wool appliqué lover, I know this was a labor of love and worth the wait.

I'll agree with better late than never. Sometimes you just have to keep chugging along little by little on a project . Your project will be a family treasure ! Congratulations on the hard work you put in!

It is not "late" !! It is early because it is only 19 weeks to Christmas/Winter!!

By the way - beautiful job on the quilt. Love it!

Hand applique or embroidery take time, and one has to be in the mood. (Ask me why I know LOL) So.......that being said, this quilt is lovely and always on time. You did a wonderful job and I'm sure it will be a family heirloom, so be sure and label it.
