I decided to sign up for the cotton cuts 50 mystery which starts tomorrow. I bought the Halloween type fabric for this. I just hope I like the pattern. I enjoy their quilt patterns and fabric that is cut. How many other members are doing this mystery with cotton cuts or with another LQS?

Happylab, my local quilt group just finished a mystery quilt. We do one each year and got the last clue last week. Always fun and always an easy, peasy pattern that is easy to duplicate after the mystery has ended with new colors and fabric. Have fun with your summer/fall mystery.
I have been making progress on my UFO for August and have my fingers crossed that I will do a second.

I haven't put up any of my quilts I've finished completely. I did finish the 2 Drunkard's Path lap quilts in June, the Abstraction was finished in early July and I should have the queen size Trail Mix finished today if it quits storming outside so I can turn my machine on to finish it. Will have photos of all mentioned to show next week hopefully.
This month I'll be quilting the red/white Optical Illusion queen size quilt for August's goal since I didn't make it for July. Life just got in the way with having my basement bathroom remodeled, having to move stuff out for the guys to work on it which meant my cutting table was completely cluttered with my clothes, quilts tops from the hall pole as I had to keep them from getting damaged by the guys. Now the bathroom is pretty much done except a few picture frames of clawfooted tubs I want to put on the walls.

I finished the wool mat quicker than anticipated and found the snowman done except for a binding and finished him too. Strange how I stopped at the binding part when it’s so small it only took minutes to complete.

@Lena1952 Those are so cute! I can understand getting soclose to finishing a project but just…not doing it. Sometimes, even if there’s just a little left to do, you’re just utterly done mentally with that project and have to put it aside! lol
Now you have Mr.Snowman ready for the coming winter season, though!

I have unquilted tops that are finally being finished -- not by me (I'm sending them out), but it's a great feeling nonetheless. I hope you don't mind if I simply post the photos of the finished tops, as I just haven't taken the time to take photos of the quilted quilts. (These tops were all finished years ago):

Thank you, Quossum, The quilt you mentioned used a fabric line called 'bake shop.' I believe the pattern was 'Park Lane' by I think it's called Bunny Hill. Yes, they have all been delivered to their permanent homes. The first one I kept for myself, needing to replace a very old quilt I use as supplemental warmth in winter. The second went to a sister, the third to a grandson, the fourth to a granddaughter, and the last i just sent off to an out of state friend. I've been stalled on getting tops quilted for so long, it feels great to finally be moving them out of the house.
