Janice I love making flying geese but not a fan of making HST’s. Yours look great
Sewbiz great start, love your block
Big storm went around us last night but today it’s raining buckets 4 to 6” expected.

Good morning. Our plans have changed a bit so I’ve got the morning off. That being the case, I’m looking at SusieQ’s fabric that came in yesterday and trying to make a decision about a block. This one has me a little stumped. It’ll come to me.
We’ve got the Asheville quilt show this weekend and it looks like I’m going to miss it. Maybe next year.
Two more packages are due in today and a handful more are on the way. Great job, Roses! Should they all arrive early, I will ship early.

Well I’m going to be the fly in the ointment. My package won’t be shipped until early Monday morning. It should get to Janice by the 22nd but probably won’t be early. I’m going up to work on them now. Just got back from vacation. Why didn’t I do this before I left?

It’s no worry mjp. I’m sorting this time as they come in so I’ve got a leg up when it comes to shipping. I might make it a day early. We’ll see what comes up between now and then.
I’m changing out the nectar in the two hummingbird feeders. Those little ones are going through it so fast that I’m cleaning and refilling before the previous batch has a chance to go bad. Every couple of days now. I could sit and watch them for hours.

I hope my fabric isn't problematic for anyone. Please don't worry about it. As I said before I was in a fabric shop in Virginia and totally overwhelmed by all the fabrics so I ended up with this one. I always love the blocks I receive so it's going to be fine.
Hope you all are having a good weekend!

Well decision was made, cutting was done. I’m very rusty. I screwed up three of the pieces, so some of you are going to get big pieces. I’ve held back those three pieces and will use them to make blocks. So glad I bought extra fabric.

Saturday has turned out too be not as planned in my life too! Was going to layer a UFO and finish piecing a mystery quilt. but instead I have emptied and cleaned my small freezer so I can make more room in the fridge freezer. Then I got a notice that a lovely thrift shop has everything 50% off, os away I go for a few pieces of clothing, fingers crossed. I really dislike shopping for clothes, but at 50% off. It might just be time.
Waiting for some thunderstorms later today! Hurrah, we need the rain, For all of you southerner, I am seeing just the tiniest hits of leaf color change. It o certainly a long way from leaf gazing time but it is starting. I saw a graph on line that said Michigan wold be losing 80 minutes of daylight in the next month. Yup, autumn is on its way even if it is mid 80's and HUMID!
Guess it really is time to sort my patterns for the boom. I am looking for a few blocks that can be repeated to keep me moving along at a good pace.

No, SusieQ! Not problematic at all. I just haven’t been inspired yet by the colors I chose. May be time to change them. I’m deciding between three patterns. I’m probably going to set it aside for a couple of days and look at my choices with a fresh eye.
