I have been on work travel for two weeks and got home around midnight last night, have come down sick with a cold. I’ve been missing my sewing while I was gone so much and only managed to get a couple blocks in before getting too tired and laying back down.

Hello to you all
Well last week I did a thing! My birthday is on the 28th. I was watching a movie from my sewing desk and looked at the pile of cards. ” I will open one ” I say to myself. I opened one than as I was fingering each candy, I got my candy containers out and sorted them. Before I knew it I went through them all. It was really enjoyable. I was able to immerse myself in your card and packaging and pile of candies and so much more. Now on Thursday I will see each and every card that I displayed along the desk and thank God for such wonderful friends.
I had a pile of darker ones which had many colors so I put them together in this small lapquilt.
Can you find yours because I included some of each of yours.
Then I started using the light color blocks. I am having so very much fun.
So thank you and happy 2.5 day!

I will catch up with record keeping tomorrow. Being head nurse, house keeper, laundress, cook and assistant PT is hard work. I am tired. My daughter is doing MUCH better than when I arrived on Friday but has a long ways to go before walking unassisted.
TG you are our star this month. Wow look at you go on putting your birthday squares to work so quickly. I have nothing for 2.5 day this month. Isn't it just July? Where did August go? Chat again tomorrow.
