    Default Mystic Cat

I found this pattern on maylily.com. It was perfect for my great-granddaughter whose parents love cats. I ordered the pattern and found these fabrics in my stash. When I cut the strips for the green background, I knew right away something was off with the measurements. I had to cut the pieces smaller. The applique patterns did not fit the background either. I had to wing it and this is what I came up with. I decided that I did not want any more black on it until I saw the backing fabric at the LQS. It was perfect. I have been watching the straight line quilting projects shown at my quilt group and decided to try it. I am happy with how it turned out. I think my great-granddaughter will like it as she gets older. She is now 1 month old.

I was under the impression that site was a scam site? Sorry for your pattern frustrations, you made a cute project!

I think you are correct about that. I read about them after I ordered. I will not order from them again.
