I never click links in posts unless I am familiar with the poster's name. I answered because this post will show up in a search and someone may be looking for information about good scissors for quilting.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to delete the post.

At one time, I think Gingher scissors were considered "the best" for sewing scissors. My Mom had some Wiss scissors (1950s) that were her "good" ones.

It seems like there are a lot more choices now.

Electric scissors do not seem like a good choice for cutting little applique pieces.

I believe the electric scissors are best in garment sewing. There you are cutting long seams. The electric scissors were popular back in the late 60's and 70's. House of Fabrics would use them to cut fabric in their stores.

Did you have the 4" or 6" and which would you recommend as to size? Just getting into collage myself

Mine are the 6", and they are pretty small already. Perfect for the collage!

Jill, I have the Karen Kay Buckley 4" and 6" both for collage, the seratted (spelling!) edges don't leave stringy bits. I don't care for them for cutting ffabric alone, but they are the ones I use at the machine for snipping threads etc.
edited to add: the 6" are easier to use for around bigger shapes and the 4" really pointy ones are perfect for fine little details. Both equally important. Just wipe them down with Isopropyl alcohol after using as they will get a little gummy

Thank you! I was thinking 4" may be great for those little pieces but also tiney to maneuver. I will go for the 6"
