SBG and MJP love all 6 of your blocks. I agree it’s fun to see the same block in different colors. SB love the fabric you used in the Christmas blocks
Janice before leaving Minnesota I cut my fabric for the next boom🤪So much easier to cut the fabric there.
Some kind of little bug managed to get in the cupboards and left tons of itty bitty turds behind. Pulled everything from the cupboards and s rubbed them clean. In the process of washing all the dishes and scrubbing jars of spices etc. At least I know what I will be doing today. Next year we will do like we do at the lake. Everything will go in plastic tubs when we leave, no scents to entice bugs.
Back to the kitchen.

Happy Sunday y'all.
We had bad windy weather flow through the state overnight. Luckily all we got here at the lake was rain. Daughter in Montgomery had a tree fall through a shed. No real damage. Hope everyone else is as lucky.
Ibex - saved the best for last. I dearly love your fabric. The crabs, gators, and other blocks are gonna make a wonderful quilt. This gray reminds me of weathered wood and old paint, like on a shrimp boat. You know, my first boyfriend worked on his family's shrimp boat. They were often out for weeks at a time. I hope you can enjoy the block.

Well, I've triple checked my baggies. Each of the fabrics are accounted for. All done for this Boom. Just waiting to send them back to Janice. Please let me know if I've missed anything.
All the blocks are wonderful. Thank you so much. everyone, for the beautiful creations and eye candy. I have a pack of earlier Boom blocks to put together while waiting for this round to return from Janice.
SusieQOH - thank you very much for the sharp block. Your corners always seem to be perfect.
TG - What's the name of the off-center block you sent me? That's interesting. And I like the pale green with the pastel lilac (?).
LStew2212 - Love the maple leaf. Is that pink or coral?
mjpEncinitas - The pattern looks similar in idea to a Patience or Disappearing 9 Patch block. Thank you for the pretty mix of colors.

Terri, tiny turds sounds more like mice. You need some traps, I think. We battle mice constantly, living in the middle of the woods.
Great to hear from Hav! Can’t wait to see your blocks. Hope your health issues have been resolved.
It sounds like most of us are finished with our blocks, or nearly so. I have only one left to make. The gallery is packed full of beautiful blocks, at this point. Hasn’t Janice done a wonderful job of maintaining the gallery for all of us?! (Clap clap clap clap clap…). So much fun to see everyone’s blocks grouped together.

Thank you SBG for the lovely Christmas block you made for me. All of the blocks in this Boom have been great to see, especially all of the new to me blocks being used.
Terri, I keep my spices in the microwave when we are not in Alabama, it's a nice secure seal that bugs cannot penetrate.
This upcoming week my plans are to finish the remaining 3 blocks in this swap. I too have already picked out the fabric I plan to send for the next Boom.
Standing ovation for Janice, as always, she has everything coordinated to perfection and our gallery is the best! Thank you Janice for all that you do!

Roses, you are most welcome! I enjoy this swap and hosting it in equal measure. We’ll be doing it again next year in winter or early spring. In the meantime, we’ll finish this one before Thanksgiving so you’ll have some time to make your quilts before Boom 35.
Hav, good to hear from you. I look forward to your newest blocks. Cheesehead, your blocks are really great together.
Ernie has had his dinner and he’s sleeping beside me, snoring up a storm. lol. What a funny pup.
Have a good evening.
