Happy Adoption Day, Ernie! I'm sure it's been a very happy year for all concerned.

Terri, the protocol for any head injury for seniors is to go in and get a CAT scan. Even if it doesn't seem necessary, it's good to have it done just so you know there is no bleeding or anything else wrong inside. Hope your hubby is ok.

I'm continuing to have some irregularities with my colon. I'm really sick of this!

Heading upstairs to quilt on some donation quilts that will be given Saturday, if I get them done.

Update on the packages received. I’ve listed those from whom I’ve received blocks in bold lettering.

All2pieces - 1 in transit
Cheesehead - 1
GramE - 1
Hav4boys - 2
Ibex94 - 1
Janice McC - 2
Lstew2212 - 2
mjpEncinitas - 1
Nelco - 1
Sewbizgirl - 2
susieQOH - 1
Terriamn - 1
TravelingGramma - 2
WMUTeach - 1

Blocks are due two weeks from tomorrow. You’ll need to ship up to a week early due to the length of time these packages are taking. Please keep this in mind. Thanks, Boomers! I haven’t heard from anyone needing assistance so I expect all packages will arrive on time.

BTW, I’m very happy with the blocks I’ve looked at so far. Virtually all I’ve seen are both beautiful and up to size. Great job, Roses!

Boy time flies, hard to believe it’s been a year since Ernie came into your lives.

Cheesehead do you stay in Wisconsin through Christmas when you go home? Our friends that are here are also going home Saturday and will head back here after Christmas. Will be quiet with them gone but lots more friends should be arriving after Thanksgiving. It’s fun to see more people arriving every day. The French Canadians from Quebec are starting to arrive, they aren’t afraid to be here but our Ontario friends won’t be coming this year. It will be interesting to see if the parks fill up this year. Most of the French Canadians drive to the Valley in huge RV’s pulling a trailer behind with their car, motorcycles and gulf carts. We love looking at all their rigs, they are very creative and boy do they cook delicious smelling food.

Good afternoon. I can hardly believe it’s a year, too. Ernie is a bit under the weather the last few days but we think he ate something like rabbit droppings which have made him have “digestion issues.” He seems better today so we hope this chapter is coming to a close.

Looks like A2P’s package should arrive today.

I am taking a break from the oceans of fabric and I’m going to try to sew something. Anything!

Hope you all are looking forward to a nice weekend. We’re in for rain and cold temps but it’s perfect sewing weather.

Good to hear the blocks are looking good, Janice. Thanks for checking them.

I finished up some quilts for donation tomorrow.. lap size, mostly. I thought you might like to see them.
The last two pics are of small stroller or car seat quilts for babies.

Wonderful quilts SBG! Hope your medical issues will be resolved soon.

Sitting in a hotel room in Paducah and planning on going to bed early tonight. Our plan is to leave early tomorrow morning in an attempt to arrive home before the snow starts to fly. Terri, we will remain in Wisconsin until after Christmas and plan to be back in Alabama before New Years eve.

We enjoyed the beautiful colors of autumn on our trip through Tennessee and Kentucky.

Hope Ernie feels better soon, our beloved pets sure know how to make their Dad and Mom worry.

SBG, great quilts. Love the train and the batik especially.

I’m pleased with block size so far! Looks like everyone is keeping their eyes on that 12-1/2 square. Great job, ladies!

Ernie seems back to himself tonight. His issues seem resolved. He’s sound asleep next to me.

Anyone have any interesting plans for the weekend? I’ll be piecing away!

I have two projects to complete this afternoon, binding on a quilt and finishing exchange blocks for my quilt group. I have joined the Virtual Quilting Weekend group to keep me on task. Other than that, I am teaching a class to elementary school children at church on Sunday about bread in the times of Jesus. So that means baking a yeast bread Saturday morning and prepping to make flat bread with the kiddos on Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon I will be joining with friends for an afternoon of board games and chatting.

Oh, I forgot I have a potluck on Sunday afternoon too. More baking for me. I may just make bread. Make it easy.

Sounds like a full weekend ahead of you, WMUTeach. How lovely that you are teaching children at church. Your home will smell wonderful with all the baking bread. Enjoy your potluck and board games with your friends.
