SusieQ, well said. It’s the price we pay.

SBG, excellent news that Marty now likes his bed!

The grands are on their way home. It was a wonderful visit and they were well behaved except for a brief couple of minutes where they were cranky and stormed out of the room to their bedroom and slammed the door, stunning us. Lo and behold they came out and both of them apologized! Almost knocked my socks off. They realized their missteps and apologized!?!? An unsolicited apology is worth more than gold. Proud grandmother here.

Today I’m finally going to set up my Juki on the dining room table in order to quilt a top. I’ve done it on my small sewing room table but I think it was a Boomer who mentioned the dining room table and I had a “duh!!!” Moment. Thank goodness for you all.

Hav’s blocks are due in today and MJP’s possibly on Monday. Looking good, Roses!

Have a fine day.

Well, the final press into the envelope then off to the PO and a quick stop at the grocery store. It’s gravy and biscuits night this month and some how I have about a quarter pound of sausage. I could do it with that but hard to stretch a quarter#. So in case we have drop ins, I’ll have enough gravy to stretch.

The last two are Sewbizgirl and MJ. These took the most thought process and I hope they work for you. Sewbizgirl is called the Page from the Photo album and MJ is The Owls or sitting here sewing it, I think it looks like hot cocoa with marshmallows and steam on top!

Yeah Marty, after that great sleep he might just feel better and eat more.

SusieQ well said!

Janice so glad your grands are so well parented they apologized when they knew they were wrong.

We changed things up today and went for a beautiful ride of all 8 parks this morning. Temp was in high 70’s with a slight breeze, Exactly why we winter here. Not a lot to see yet as the majority of the folks come here after Thanksgiving.

GramE, good for you finishing on time! Woo hoo! I’ll look for your tracking number to start showing progress by Monday. Might be too much to hope it moves today. I’ll put your blocks in the gallery later today. DH loves biscuits and gravy so he gets it at restaurants when we go out for breakfast occasionally.

Terriamn, hope you are feeling better. Sounds like Texas is good for you.

Well, quilting on the dining room table is much smoother! Why did I never think of that? I’ve got a few columns of stitching done and while my lines are still “organic” the stitch length is more even and I’m not swearing at all. Great improvement!

Have a happy weekend, Roses.

GramE, thank you for my beautifully fussy cut Christmas block!

I have written three posts which were all deleted when I tried to post them. Got bumped off the site… so I’m giving up for now.

Progress on Boom 32 Squirrels. This is one top and I have enough to make a second. Going to try my hand on machine quilting the binding. Shall see if all of videos I have watched work.

Poor lighting but.....what ever! A better photo when "really" finished.

Pretty top for Boom 32. Machine binding is so quick to do. Bet you’ll like it.

Nope Janice, it’s not moving today. I got ready to seal my envelope and I remembered I hadn’t made my final check. So I dumped everything gave hubby a list of names and started calling them off. He said I was missing two bags! Oh no. I’ve had this problem before those slippery little things are like trying to pick up a goldfish out of the bowl. Well, I found both but it was going to be close. I didn’t make it. And it won’t fit in the outside Dropbox because they don’t want pkgs in there. It was 2 1/2 hours til they made the next pick up and i didn’t think I could wait that long. So I went and bought my sausage and went home to pout! The odd thing is, I tried to count pkgs on Thursday and spent 2 hrs looking for 2 bags. One of which was in my hand between two others and the other was in the pile but didn’t get checked off.

No more pics to post but I realized that I had a wall hanging that Libster had made in a wall hanging swap and she got my name. It’s beautiful, so I thought I would post a picture. Well, not today. My tablet won’t load it.
