Well, I was able to snap a picture of this week's finish. It has been 18 months in the making and just needs the label. The sun seems to be hiding out behind clouds every day this week making photos a challenge.
This is my version of Wendy Sheppard's Harrisonburg Quilt that was promoted by Pat Sloan as a fund raiser for the Virginia Quilt Museum. It finished at 78 X 93.

Good morning. I’m feeling a little better but I think it’s the flu. Running a fever and have all the symptoms. Bummer since I had the vaccine.
WMUTeach, I love your quilt! The colors are so soft and complement each other. Did you quilt it yourself? It’s a stunner.
I’m still shooting for a Monday shipping but we’ll see.

No, Janice, I didn't quilt it myself. It was just too large and heavy for me to "man handle" on my domestic. I tried a different longarmer who came recommended by a quilting friend and was thrilled with her work. I will certainly use her again when I have a special quilt or one that is too large for me to "wrestle".
Take care Janice and rest. Those little packages can wait. We can wait a few extra days if needed.
I had a quiet gentle sounding visitor last evening. As I went to put out trash in the early darkness, I heard a soft sound from behind my condo. An owl was calling and calling from a copse of trees behind my condo building. I did not hear an answer from another owl but not for a lack of calling. Owls are mighty predators and I am sure my marsh supplies plenty of small critters as owl snacks but that hooting was so calming. What a treat to hear near a highly populated development that surrounds the small marsh behind my home. A lovely end to the day.

Janice hope it is only a 24/ 48 hour virus if you think it is the flu.
WMUt gorgeous gorgeous quilt, love your colors.
It is supposed to rain later today and the humidity must be sky high. We went for a golf cart ride and had to remove my sandals, my feet and hands were so swollen. First really nasty day here in quite awhile

Sorry you are down with the flu, Janice. I haven't taken a flu shot in over a decade. I just don't believe they help. Hope you can get the rest you need while your body resolves this flu. Don't forget to drink lots of fluids! We'll be thinking of you.
Terri, sorry the weather has turned nasty there. Maybe it's a good day to stay indoors and sew, with the A/C on? Hope you get some cooler weather soon. It's warm here too again, but supposed to see temps drop by Wednesday. I would love to have a cool Thanksgiving.
WMUT, we have owls in our woods too. There is one in particular who hoots in the evenings while we are out on the porch. We love to hear him (her). It's a cool and soothing sound. I love it. I do hear another owl hoot back usually, from farther off.
We got the sad news yesterday afternoon that hubby's younger brother had died. He had a massive stroke/aneurism/brain tumor about a year ago, and has been hospitalized since. On a feeding tube... Finally he's been set free. The family will most likely have the funeral right after Thanksgiving, in Southern Louisiana.
Today I am trying to work on the 4 pair of pajamas for the grandchildren, for Christmas. Have two for the girls nearly done, and then I'll cut the two for the little boys. I'm so ready to get back to quilting!

No rush on those baggies!
