Default Stained Glass Roses

I finished the stained glass, Circle of Roses, yesterday. It is an original design. I hung it in a window for the pic, but plan to move to another window. I had to finish it before quilting the pixel quilt that is ready. I only have one table area! Which is fine because I can't do two things at once. Enjoy.

Your stained glass piece is beautiful! It took a lot of work and patience. I took a course in stained glass one year, and I liked it, but didn't want to do anything with it after that. I admire anyone who does.

Very pretty!

Is working with stained glass hard on your hands?

I would be worried about getting nicked while trying to put the pieced together.

That effect on clear glass really sets off the vibrant colors! What a wonderful piece of art.

Thanks! I use gloves to handle large sheets of glass. Oh, yes, I have cut myself. Stupid mistake. I cut my wrist once while working at my SIL's house that needed stitches. ER. The doctors wanted to give me suicide counseling until she explained that we were cutting glass. After that, I truly respect the glass and methods to cut it!
