Anyone else joining Aby Dolinger's Optimism BOM quilt-along?

Nothing screamed to have a special center for this month but I did alter the color in the blocks a smidge. Feels good to be caught back up on my sewing. Now to get caught up on the house work.

I am a couple of months behind on my blocks as my SIL has been living in my sewing/guest room for two months. It's hard to get to my stash, so I've been paper piecing 6" blocks for a different quilt. I've printed Aby's instructions each month and hope to get back to it when I can. I still love seeing every one else's blocks, though!

Quossum -- beautiful!!! I collected all the patterns but haven't had a chance to make any of them yet. Seeing your quilt has me itching for time to make them.
Did any of the patterns give you serious trouble or do they all come together as described in the instructions?

@ibex94 I confess that I deliberately chose the “easier” of the options for each month, and they all came together with no problem, though with my (lack of) precision skills, I still had a couple of blocks that ended up a bit too big (don’t look too closely at the points lost in the sashings…) or a bit too small (saved with more scant seam allowances with the top construction for the most part.)
On one of the blocks, I reversed the colors of the “body” and the “wings” of the flying geese units and ended up with an “alternate look” for that block, but that’s on me! LOL
