Tee-Hee-Hee! That is the way I am feeling about several of my end of the year projects. Why? Why? Why did I start this? But... I sure will be good at those items after repeating them so often. Good to hear from y'all.

I’m here!!
nelco - let us see when you get it together. I was thinking of using 9 patches. And I loved the fact of putting the strip on and then trimming.
getting ready to head to Phoenix, Tucson and desert for two months. Packing up my candy boxes and small projects. I also have bday cards ready for January and February.
enjoy a cuppa cocoa for me

M-m-m-m a cuppa cocoa, raspberry please! Enjoy your time in the desert. Can I assume you are with your usual group of friends? How special to have a roving caravan of buddies to spend time with.
Spent my day dashing about in preparation for Christmas and my oldest GD's birthday. She lives 4 hours away from me, so her gift went in the mail. Now on to finish her Christmas gift. She and I started a quilt with the hope she would catch the quilting bug, but the gene seems to have skipped her. The quilt has been sitting in a basket since she was 14, now almost 22. I am finishing the quilt and surprising her for Christmas. Fingers crossed.
More project await................... time, we all need more time. Right?

Good evening all. I liked the block pattern TravelingGramma posted from Facebook. I can see my self doing it with a controlled scrappy colors and black. I think our hostess with the mostess should start a group QAL on this thread next year. Let it be a year long QAL’s.
I’m playing a slouch and not doing anything but resting and watching tv and on Facebook getting ideas. Tomorrow I will get up and sew in the morning. That always motives me for the day. Oh well back to goofing off and not do anything.

Hello All, Boy what a week. Mother Nature brought us a wonderful amount of snow. I love winter and the crisp clean air......white blanket of snow covering all the Fall mud and dead leaves. I absolutely love winter!!! We had a few days of "freeze your snot cold." A phrase that lovingly refers to temps below 0. These are my kind of days. School was cancelled yesterday.....1st snow day of the year as well. Several fires in the fireplace have already been enjoyed. I have an updated list below. Thank you to everyone for a great swap this year. I feel rather honored to be the one to close out this years swap. I hope to be more vocal this next year, but if not, please know how much this group does mean to me.
