    Wow, love the two-sided quilt. Was that what made it a hard quilt to finish? I've never attempted one but thought about it with all these flimsy's to finish.

    Finished should feel good!
    It is very frustrating when the directions and fabrics dont match the picture.

    I must admitt that your Halloween quilt has blown me away! Been thinking of making one for years, but at 73 years young and all my grandchildren living in different states I thought why? Why not just because I want to and can (hopefully)?

    There's no better reason as to why you should make a Halloween quilt ....

    I had a similar experience with a quilt I purchased at a quilt shop. The fabric in the kit didn't match the instructions. The instructions didn't match the quilt I saw and liked in the store. After a couple of hours trying to figure it out I just gave up and made up my own pattern. The experience put me off of kits for quite a while. I have found the kits from Fabric Cafe to be accurate.
