Husband wants chicken wings again with baked potato and broccoli. He's on a low salt diet and I found this seasoning that he actually likes on chicken. He does not like Dash or other low salt seasoning mixes.

Onebyone, thanks for that seasoning tip. I'll have to look for that.
I like Old Bay, and being the cheapo that I am, I also like the seasoning that I get at the Dollar Tree. They've been out lately though. Apparently, I'm not the only one that likes it.
Tonight I'm making fresh mackerel. The son is just going to have to find something for himself to eat.

Haven't had any planned meals, we are doing some freezer clean out type things. Yesterday when we went grocery shopping there was a marked down corned beef that was worth buying. Hubby went bowling and I cooked it with half a carton of chicken stock I had left over.
Today we'll get a head of cabbage chunk it up fairly large but in pieces, and slice up a weird assortment of leftover chicken (and pork) sausages we have, along with half of a rotisserie chicken in the saved broth. Keto friendly but not low salt... although the chicken stock did start out as "lower" it wasn't after the corned beef.
I still miss carbs but cabbage has replaced noodles in a variety of ways. Raw and crispy, or cooked and somewhat sloppy..

Realized we bought a pork loin from Costco the other day and it was in the downstairs fridge... out of sight and out of mind.
Will freeze one third, cut a little over a third into 1" thick chops to brine over night and cook on the pellet grill tomorrow. This will be the first time doing something "thin" on the smoker. Still low temp and about an hour+ for the chops.
For tonight, I cut the slightly less than a third into thin chops and pounded them out schnitzel style but no coating, just some Lawry's season salt and lots of pepper for the hubby. I'm not always up for the noise of the pounded but it felt sort of good today!
