I haven't gotten an email notice of any activity in this group for weeks. It just occurred to me that it's time! Boy have I missed alot of conversation. I don't know why I don't get the email updates routinely.
I'm still struggling with getting my Bernina B16 sitdown working again. It has been broken since last March. It almost has me thinking about quitting quilting from frustration.
My heating went out in the house on the coldest night of the year last month... near zero wind chill. It took days to get it repaired. This week it has stopped working three more times... eleven days after paying $500 to get it repaired. They may come tomorrow to try to repair it again. It seems like nothing ever stays fixed.
My New Year's Resolution is the same every year... I resolve not to write 2025 as the year any more in 2026.

I don’t think many know about this feature, so I’ll post a note about. The User CP button near the top left of the page will show you all subscribed and/or bookmarked threads that have posts in them you haven’t read. If you e never used it, it might take a minute to clean up your subscriptions, but after that you can follow threads you’re interested in without slogging through things you’ve already seen or getting your inbox clogged with notifications.
This is different from the new posts option because it only shows you new posts in subscribed threads, not new posts in all threads. And if you want to see threads that you’ve not read at all, click the Archives link at the bottom of the page. That shows you threads by category in reverse chronological order. The ones you’ve seen should be one cooor, and the ones you haven’t see in a different color.

Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for the QB technology hints. I've been a lurker for several years but am new to posting. I need to read about how to post pictures. You know, in case I ever finish anything to share.
All my candies are cut and sorted, and 12 sets are ready for mailing. I'll package up the remainder over the weekend. I've definitely mastered counting out 50 plus 2 extra - so you guys can immediately reject the two ugliest ones! I will mail the January envelopes either tomorrow or Saturday.
I am going to a quilt retreat Jan 16-19 so need to get my projects organized. I also need to make some appointments to do some longarming. If something is 50x60 or smaller, I will quilt it at home but for anything larger I go to the APQS showroom where the owner rents machines by the hour. What I really need to do is retire so I can spend more time quilting. Maybe in two or three years...

Birthday Swappers, there is a correction to the first birthday of the year, it is one day earlier. My apologies, I checked my list and had the correct date but I made an error in the PM sent to everyone.
By-the- way, my envelopes were dropped in the mailbox this afternoon and are shivering in the cold waiting for the mail person to pick them up tomorrow.

My envelopes are sitting in the mailbox ready for the mailman to pick them up.
2026 is not starting out well here. My heat stopped working six times since Monday. Eleven days before I paid $500 to have it fixed.
Usually, if I turn the emergency switch off and on the gas boiler, it will start back up temporarily... That little trick is no longer working. The heat has been out since 4:00 p.m. yesterday. The temperature was 23 degrees last night. Shiver...
