It sure is difficult to say "no" to additional fabric!!!
my hope is to get a shed for some stuff and to retrieve at least one pallet of fabric from my sister and bil place.
I hope to live long enough to retrieve all of it.
It isn't so much letting go at this point - its how to.

My quilting goals are to finish what I didn't finish in 2015-2025, how's that for a goal? I do have the last king size quilt on the frame now and my goal is to ge tit finished by the end of this month since I couldn't get it done for 2025 goals. Then I have another Ombre quilt but just an oversized lap quilt to go with the queen size Ombre quilt I was able to finish back in Mar-Aprl when I got my mojo back. My sister wants me to finish my French Braid quilt top that's hanging on the design wall but I'd rather get the quilt tops still hanging on the pole finished first. Plus I like to look at my French Braid hanging there when i walk by it daily. I also have a self designed quilt pattern to finish as someone would like to adopt it. It's a Tree of Life panel (Disney) with paper pieced blocks as well as regular pieced blocks going around it. My problem was the pieced sashing that went between each row of blocks as I couldn't figure out how to get them to fit but I now have a plan to fix that issue. Plus I have 2 more oversized lap quilts to make from the beginning for a couple gents in my congregation and those will finish my quilts there. So I have my goals cut out for me for this year so hopefully I can make at least half of them. I'm having a slight issue with my IQ robotics and the installer hasn't responded to my email and it's been a couple days now. I've been working around this issue for years but now I want it fixed.

So far I have found five backings for my finished tops. I have battings in two sizes to work with that include two dark gray, blackish ones. I have stocked up on threads and now there is no excuses not to get a wiggle on and finish them. I may have to find binding fabric but, I am thinking I may have much of that in my stash already.
There is no order I have planned. So I get to have some creative license along the way. Years ago I bought a few sew through quilting papers. I want to use those up. Who knows? I may get to where I don't need many markings to design a pattern. We will see.

I just still want to quilt... I am happiest when I am able to do a bit (or more) of sewing each day, and I haven't been doing that for a long time now. I've thought long and hard about the why do I quilt, and it still boils down to it is my creative outlet and I enjoy it and I want to keep on doing it.
I still don't have my (used/non-computerized) Long Arm set up, has been a full year. I have reasons/excuses and about 30 projects ready to quilt. Only a few are recent, most moved with me 2 years ago. On the other hand, the rest of my sewing space is nicely set up by now. I am so lucky to have a dedicated sewing space.
Between moving and then a year of being legally blind, I lost a lot of my mojo and joy. Plans and goals I had languished and got pushed aside. I still have projects I intend to finish, but I am reconsidering what I had planned before. I feel that my creative well got emptied and it is just now filling back up.

My plan, I never achieve my goals...lol, is to have 4 quilts for Project Linus every month. 3 smaller and 1 for teens. Malabe have one or two larger quilts for our long armer to finish. I was able to do this for January but now have to start on Feb.
