Yeah, I’ll give it a few more days. It’s weird that one of the packets arrived within a couple of days, but not the other one. I haven’t yet had to replace a packet gone astray, so I’m quite sad, but I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. The one time that someone had to send a second packet to me, well, the first one did arrive a few weeks later, so I felt bad!

I am so pleased that you are enjoying your little packages. That is what this swap is all about.
Ibex and Quossum, there is no rule about how long to wait before sending a replacement envelope. I think that waiting until one week past the birth date as a rule of thumb would be appropriate but I leave it up to you and what makes you comfortable. When I look at the calendar, I see there are two weekends and that can certainly impact delivery. You are both experienced faithful swappers and I suspect that the delay has more to do with the mail system than your faithful swapping effort. That would mean a second mailing to Pamelor, Friday, January 16 or as you choose.
Now there are swappers who have not indicated that they have sent their envelopes. This concerns me, but I will extend some additional time because of the quick turn around for this first birthday. I will send "nudges" in the next few days if envelopes don't arrive very soon.
Have a restful evening and a happy week of stitching and enjoying all your creative endeavors.
