You, stated it so graciously, Janice McC.....challenging! Yes, the constant turning of the piece and then keeping the circles even was a challenge. I have fallen in to a multitude of other options for quilting that are much easier.

Challenging as I'm sure it was, the quilting is great and suits your project well!

Your candy quilts are great Pinkflowers and WMUTeach. Circular quilting is intriguing. It looks great but I don't know that my tables are big enough for a full sized quilt. One never knows until tried, right? But not this weekend! Happy Holiday everyone.

I finally made the first quilt I have tried since my Bernina B16 sitdown broke ten months ago. I had to quilt it on my domestic machine since the sitdown isn't fixed yet. It was frustrating to say the least. I'm not sure if it's fun anymore. Hopefully, my broken machine will get fixed before my next quilt.

It didn't use any candy squares, but here it is in case you'd like to see it. https://www.quiltingboard.com/showth...77#post8713977

pinkflowers and WMUTeach, thank you for the pictures! I was drawn to the circle quilting too but that does not look easy, I don't think I'll try right away. I am still struggling through my gajillion little FMQ circles on the last quilt picture I sent. I I ever finish it will post.
JENNR8R that girl in the middle of your quilt is really cute. What a cool idea.

Wow! So glad mine arrived at last. It must’ve been hiding in the corner of some post office but at last it got scooted out of hiding and back onto its proper path. Better late than never! lol

Yea, Thanks for the latest arrival update. The next birthday message will be going out on the 20th. Are you ready?

JENNR8R you quilt is fantastic. Fun and colorful and whimsical. Well done. I hope your "sit down long arm" will be returned to you in purring condition to keep you busily working on your quilting tasks, 2.5's or not.

Stay warm everyone it seems to be cold in so many places from Florida to Minnesota and so many places east and west.

Love it!!! I love slice and dice options and that portrait is lovely! Is it someone or is it just a face from your imagination? Get that quilt into a show!

I am sorry your sit down is still unworking. This is one of the reasons I am hesitate to get any of those computer board machines.... if I can't count on good mechanics being close at hand as needed, I am scared to make that financial equipment. I tried your model at a Bernina store and loved it. Then the store closed due to retirement of the owners and now there is no reliable Bernina mechanic around here. I am glad I didn't buy it when I was considering it. Of course, I still don't have time to quilt so no machine purchases for me for a while anyway. I feel your pain in the meantime.
