Ibex, most "northerners" are good at ice and snow but when a whiteout blows across and no one can see, it can make a mess.We are in the middle of a 6 day episode of blowing snow with whiteouts in those unprotected flat areas. I just heard on the morning news about one fellow that was in the middle of that 100+ mess who realized it would be a long cold wait and he was only a few miles from home, so he bundled up, always prepared, and crossed a field to a housing neighborhood and called his parents to pick him up. He got notice many hours later that his car had been towed to a nearby high school that was acting as a staging area for abandoned cars. It took until nearly dark to clear the delivery tucks,,semi-tractor/trailers and private vehicles. I plan on staying home or traveling city streets when even in heavy snow I can see.what is going on.

FYI - I just sent out the February Swap message. If you did not get it or information is not correct, let me know ASAP..

Julie G, we would love to see a photos of your retreat accomplishments. FYI, on the 25th of each month we often take a moment to post what we are working on or have maybe even finished that makes use of 2.5" squares. You are right on time! Newbie for a win!

I just knew you would discover the error. It did provide a smile, though. We know you just well enough to know that was a typo or autocorrect error.

Oh, JENNR8R you are so faithful to be the first. I played the slug today, a very cold slug and will traipse out to the mail box tomorrow when it is a wee bit warmer.

    Envelope received today from hav4boys.

Thank you for the birthday wishes, candies, and extra surprise treats! I had a wonderful time opening envelopes, reading cards and googling over all the yummy candy charms!

No worries, wesing. Autocorrect is notorious for giving us free giggles!

February candies are going out in the the mail tomorrow. Sorry wesing, I laughed too! I love autocorrect! Not. It's handy for typing in a foreign language though. Just hate it for English -- I can spell my own words in English, thank you very much.

WMU, I saw drone footage of your 100+car crash. That was rather amazing. We haven't had any snow yet this season, it's been pleasantly mild.

I am not currently on any 2.5 projects, but several others in the works that will hopefully be completed within the month or two. I have an older 2.5 wip that I may just pull out after those are done.
