I am still not fully well, but at that wonderful point where you can appreciate you were feeling really bad but are better now... Most times my "normal" status needs improvement but it's looking pretty good right now. I take a moment to pause and be thankful for things that can be gotten over.
And isn't this just a fun stage where we get to see the different tops. This year I'm not hearing anyone really wanting to rearrange the blocks -- is that more of a diagonal set thing?? Or maybe that we just don't have all that many options? I think someone mentioned they saw a version set with sashing between the blocks?
Pinkflowers, I didn't mention before but I could see the "white tulips" coming from your green stems, which I still have problems seeing in most background. I think it is your lovely pinks and contrast.
Stitches23, with your fabric selections, I really like your alternate dark background. I'm complaining about mine still being "two blocks" (is turning into an overall diagonal sort of...) but yours is two blocks working well together! You were the person earlier who wanted to emphasize the Ohio Star? I think you did that!
And speaking of my top, I did do a bit of effort today! Was finally working on my last blocks. Just a couple more seams to go but time to take an "I'm still sick" break. I did turn the page of the notebook! Still a lot of work to go, laying out the blocks, sewing the rows, confirming the inner border, and sewing that border...
So impressed with you with finished projects. I'm still thinking Valentine's is my goal for top completion. As I somewhat sheepishly have begun saying, quilting down is essentially optional... or at least not planned for any time soon.

Audsgirl - yes, it will be a full size quilt - same as Bonnie's. All the blocks are assembled just did not have room to lay them all out for the picture. My border will be the same as Bonnie's too. I'll post again in a few days when it's all together - that is if we don't lose electricity with the wintery weather that hit last night and will go a good part of day today.

It is exciting to see all the progress being made. Joe's mom, I'm happy for your good medical report and that you can resume work on Indigo Way; I'm anxious to see the finished product. Iceblossom, praying that you continue to improve and are able to get back to your monochromatic quilt. I'm really interested in seeing that one...pictures have been awesome. To all the others on this site...thank you for sharing your progress and photo's; I have learned a great deal from all the discussions and tips.
Here is my almost finished version. I was able to make this one mostly from stash.

Yay me! I was well enough to finish the last 5 blocks. I have a couple extras, which is always good, so I'm trying to adjust the layout to balance/keep things apart. I'll probably have to wait until Monday (when the hubby leaves for work again) to do the final layout on the king bed. Especially with my extra row, it is draped all over the edges of the queen.
I heard the hubby go by, stop and look at it on the guest bed and heard him mutter "I like it!". Nice to get an unsolicited approval.
Musically, I've gone through H, it was interesting... mostly female but various styles. Heart, Lauryn Hill, Hole (Courtney Love's band), have lots to say but I'm going with Indigo Girls. I try to keep politics out of my quilting posts but it is part of me, and when I see little 5 year old Liam in Minneapolis, I can't help but see my own golden grandchild, 6 year old Leon. It isn't even my favorite Amy and Emily song but it is in my heart. I don't want it to be emblematic of this project.
Shame on You

Oh, Granny12 -- thanks for persisting in posting pictures. So many of us have so many issues. But I just love love the blue in your top!!
Here's a picture of my "draped/not complete" layout -- otherwise know as what the hubby saw and approved.

granny12 - I like your quilt. The border , especially the navy around the edge, really makes your quilt pop. It's beautiful.
Iceblossom - looking good. Glad you are feeling better.
To everyone who has posted pictures or is working on this mystery - you should be proud of yourself. The pictures posted on here are all unique and beautiful.

Iceblossom, I'm so glad you're feeling better! Your quilt looks amazing. I don't know what my husband sees when he looks at my quilts, because he is red/green colorblind. His reaction is usually along the lines of 'Yikes!' when it's a Bonnie Hunter quilt. But then, my sewing room is very small, so you can't get far enough away from the quilt to appreciate the pattern.
granny12, that's so lovely, especially coming from stash!
