I'm thinking I'm going to have to adjust the width of my inner border maybe to accommodate the Goose Border and my extra row of blocks. The geese size just does not compute well with the block size.

Think I'm going to have to do something but too much maths too early! Going to finish the sides I know are correct and see what happens...

I have my first side inner border #1 sewn on.

I had a moment of regretting that I've already sewn together my pieced border, rather than waiting and trying different orientations to see which I like. Since I couldn't decide which way to face my red triangles, I chose to face them both ways, and I think it might end up being somewhat distracting rather than complementary. But I'm not taking them apart.

I finished the inner part! Now to work on the borders. SO glad all those geese are already done.

Oh Quossom -- so nice! I hope you are happy so far!!

And Joesmom -- so sad about the loss of your dog. I understand your husband all too well. That their little doggy lives are short and they just don't have the words or understanding to tell us when something isn't going well. All we can do is to make their lives good while they are with us, and they don't have any regrets even if we do. But no matter how many have gone before, it just doesn't get any easier losing something we love But that means we can cherish what we do have all that more.

For me, I have most of my goose units connected, I'm hoping by the end of the weekend to have figured out the spacing for my extra row...

Quossum, it seems you really picked up steam as you went along. Your quilt is looking gorgeous!

Thank you, Iceblossom, you put that so well.

Another beauty, Quossum! So sorry joe'smom and hubby. It is always difficult to experience the loss of a dear four-footed friend. We all think...what if and I hope your hubby finds a place of peace about this.

Thank you for your prayers and kind words petthefabric and WMUTeach.

I continue working on those borders, and also enjoying producing my pretty clue #1s at the slow L/E pace.

I have been preoccupied with non sewing stuff and did not do basically any sewing all weekend. I am going to Barb's next weekend, so we will see what gets done! I just realized yesterday that I am going over the Superbowl (Go Hawks!) and that sadly I will not be fixing game food for the hubby. We will survive

My center is still together, my border Geese units are mostly but not all connected. Today at sewing group I will finish up the goose units and put them together into the 4 sides -- and once the basic size is done via Bonnie's directions I will figure out the ramifications of my extra row. Shouldn't be too bad a solution...

And just for those that need fabric temptations, eQuilter is having one of their backing sales again and this Bluebonnet (Texan Lupine) caught my eye!

Me, yeah... still going that dark charcoal but am wanting to play with some color next.

These borders have been slow going. The next one should be quicker, no points to be concerned with.
