SBG your retreat is coming up fast. Hope you enjoy it. No, there won’t be any sashing between the blocks. Each block is made of four units that I plan to rearrange once the remaining units are cut and sewn. I’m having to break into new fabrics as I’ve about drained my supply of small chunks of fabric in mediums and darks.
We’ve got nearly 70 degrees temps! I took a nearly 2 mile walk in this morning and now I’m reading a fun little book, The Persian Pickle Club, a social and quilting club in 1930s Kansas. Very enjoyable.

Ooo, read The Persian Pickle Club about a dozen years ago. Thanks for the reminder. I need to re-read or listen to the audio book again. I many of the books Sandra Dallas has written. Not all, but many. (A few I found a little "flat" or maybe it was just me at the time....a little flat.) I see a movie is scheduled to be made of the book. Humm?

WMUTeach, I took a second Sandra Dallas book out of the library. Hope it’s good but I’ll be looking for the “flatness” you mentioned. I don’t mind low key but flat won’t be good. I’m thinking of bringing my candy squares to my Daytime retreat. I just need to pick out a project.
I just finished putting on the snowballed corners on my Oopsie Daisy project. They’re all up on the design wall. When the sun comes in the room in the morning, I’ll start rearranging. A pic follows.

Boom 35
Good afternoon. I’m slowly working on those OD blocks. It’s slow going pressing seams the correct way and matching those corner triangles. I’m going with the speeding horse degree of precision. If I can’t see it from atop a speeding horse, I’m good with it.
So, I’m setting dates for Boom 35. Looking at starting signups on 3/22, F8s to arrive to me by 4/17, I ship to you on 4/21 and blocks due back to me 7/24. You’ll have your blocks back early August. Am wondering how that looks for you all.
