    Default Tonganoxie

I was given a kit with a pattern I did not care for. It had 20 fat quarters and this pattern needed that many. So this is Tonganoxie 9P by mavanell studio. I had much left over so made these stars for a charity quilt. Still have a bit left and will make something out of them.

Both of these look great! Isn’t it fun when someone passes something on to you? Keep having a ball with them.

love the border you put on the stars. great job for both. always a bonus to have enough extra fabric in a quilt to make more!

Beautiful and frugal. Love your choices of a pattern to use.

I agree, both quilts are great. I really like the tonganoxie pattern. It always amazes me at the overage of fabric in some patterns. If I am trying to use my stash I do my own calculations. Otherwise there would be many quilt patterns I don't use because I don't thinkni have enough fabric for.

Both are lovely, but I especially like the stars.
