Hello from the east coast of Canada. I have a TL 2000 Qi and was wondering if anyone has ever had an issue with a small black spring loaded lever under the rear belt cover?
The Juki no longer sews unless this lever is pushed towards the clutch. If you just try sew, the motor runs, but the clutch is disengaged because that black lever catches the hand wheel clutch… any help on how to repair this situation would be greatly appreciated!!
The image shows the small black lever, which is normally covered by the rear motor belt cover.

I figured it out, The top panel has the connecting lever and it was jostled to the side from rough shipping handlers. Straightened things out and not it runs freely.. I guess no one is on this site, so this won't really help anyone. Oh well

Happy for you that you found the solution. You posted in the wrong category; the Juki TL 2000 does not embroidery. Your post had 119 views, but machine embroiders probably had no answer to the Juki problem.

Yes, actually, the Juki TL-2000Qi is specifically designed for quilting and high-speed, straight-stitch sewing, operating at up to 1,500 stitches per minute. It features an 8.5-inch workspace (plus an included extension table), a knee lifter, automatic thread cutting, and is excellent for both piecing and free-motion quilting. Not sure about the non Qi version, but I don’t have that
